बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। लोकसभा आम चुनाव 2024 के लिए ईवीएम कमीशनिंग का कार्य गुरुवार को पूर्ण हुआ।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी नम्रता वृष्णि ने पॉलिटेक्निक कॉलेज में प्रत्याशियों या उनके प्रतिनिधियों की उपस्थिति में ईवीएम कमीशनिंग कार्य का अवलोकन किया । इस दौरान उन्होंने मॉक पोल के लिए मशीनों की लॉटरी निकाली तथा मॉक पोल करवाया।

उन्होंने वीवीपेट स्लिप की श्रेडिंग हेतु एआरओ को निर्देशित किया। कमीशनिंग का यह कार्य सभी सहायक रिटर्निंग अधिकारियों की मौजूदगी में बीइएल (बेल) के तकनीकी विशेषज्ञों द्वारा किया गया।

स्ट्रांग रूम का निरीक्षण कर लिया व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी वृष्णि ने स्ट्रांग रूम का निरीक्षण कर व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया और नॉर्म्स के अनुसार समस्त सुरक्षा इंतजाम सुनिश्चित करने के निर्देश दिए।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि आयोग के निर्देशानुसार एसओपी की पूर्ण अनुपालना करवाते हुए कमीशनिंग कार्य पूर्ण करने के बाद विधानसभा वार बनाए गए स्ट्रांग रूम में ईवीएम रखवाई गई तथा स्ट्रांग रूम्स सील किये गये हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि मतदान दल रवानगी के दिन स्ट्रांग रूम से मशीनों के डिस्पैच का कार्य किया जाएगा।

उल्लेखनीय है कि लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए कुल 1929 मतदान केन्द्रों हेतु 2312 बैलेट यूनिट (बीयू), 2312 कंट्रोल यूनिट (सीयू) एवं 2500 वीवीपैट मशीनों की कमीशनिंग की गई है।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. EVM commissioning work for the Lok Sabha General Elections 2024 was completed on Thursday.

District Election Officer Namrata Vrishni observed the EVM commissioning work in the presence of candidates or their representatives at the Polytechnic College. During this, he took out a lottery of machines for the mock poll and conducted a mock poll.

He directed the ARO to shred the VVPAT slip. This commissioning work was done by the technical experts of BEL in the presence of all the Assistant Returning Officers.

Inspected the strong room and took stock of the arrangements

District Election Officer Vrishni inspected the strong room and took stock of the arrangements and gave instructions to ensure all security arrangements as per the norms.

The District Election Officer said that after completing the commissioning work by ensuring full compliance of SOP as per the instructions of the Commission, EVMs were kept in the strong rooms made assembly wise and the strong rooms were sealed.

He said that the work of dispatching the machines will be done from the strong room on the day of polling party departure.

It is noteworthy that for the Lok Sabha elections, 2312 Ballot Units (BU), 2312 Control Units (CU) and 2500 VVPAT machines have been commissioned for a total of 1929 polling stations.
