झुग्गी झोपड़ियों से 800 परिवार चकगरबी में शिफ्ट

बीकानेर शहर जल्दी ही होगा झुग्गी झोपड़ी मुक्त

बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। श्रीगंगानगर रोड सहित विभिन्न स्थानों पर दशकों से बनी झुग्गी-झोपड़ियों से शिफ्ट किए गए लगभग 800 परिवार चकगरबी में शिफ्ट कर दिए गए हैं। जहां इन परिवारों के लिए आधारभूत सुविधाओं की व्यवस्था की गई है। वहीं यहां के लगभग 100 बच्चे शिक्षा की मुख्यधारा से जुड़ चुके हैं।

जिला कलेक्टर भगवती प्रसाद कलाल ने कहा कि सड़कों के किनारे झुग्गी-झोपड़ियों में रहने वाले लोगों के लिए दुर्घटना का खतरा बना रहता है। वहीं इन स्थानों पर बिजली, पानी और शौचालय जैसी आधारभूत सुविधाएं नहीं मिल पाती।

उन्होंने बताया कि इसके मद्देनजर चरणबद्ध तरीके से करते हुए श्रीगंगानगर रोड सहित शहर के विभिन्न स्थानों में झुग्गी झोपड़ी में रहने वाले परिवारों का चिन्हीकरण किया गया तथा लगभग तीन-चार महीने की समझाइश के बाद इन्हें सम्मानजनक शिफ्टिंग के लिए तैयार किया गया।

यूआईटी द्वारा चकगरबी में स्थान निर्धारित करते हुए पंद्रह गुना पंद्रह फिट के भूखंड इन परिवारों को दिए गए। परिवारों की शिफ्टिंग से पहले यहां ट्यूबेल तैयार करवाया गया। कम्युनिटी टॉयलेट और स्नानघर बनाए गए। सामुदायिक भवन निर्माण की स्वीकृति दी गई। वहीं रोड लाइट और सड़क की व्यवस्था की गई।

जिला कलेक्टर ने बताया कि इसके बाद चरणबद्ध तरीके से 800 परिवारों को यहां शिफ्ट किया गया। इनमें से लगभग साढ़े सात सौ परिवार यहां रहने लगे हैं। शेष भी जल्दी ही यहां आ जाएंगे।

जिला कलेक्टर ने बताया कि चकगरबी में ए व बी, दो प्लान तैयार किए गए। प्रत्येक प्लान में लगभग 400 परिवारों को शिफ्ट किया गया है। यहां दो सेट में सभी आधारभूत सुविधाएं मुहैया करवाई गई हैं। वहीं बिजली विभाग के माध्यम से इन परिवारों को घरेलू कनेक्शन दिए जा रहे हैं।

उन्होंने बताया कि यहां रहने वाले सौ बच्चों को दाखिला स्कूल में करवाया गया है तथा इन्हें लाने और ले जाने के लिए भामाशाहों के सहयोग से 2 बसें भी उपलब्ध करवाई गई हैं। पात्र परिवारों के लिए प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना (शहरी) के माध्यम से आवास स्वीकृत करवाए जाएंगे।

उन्होंने बताया कि शत प्रतिशत शिफ्टिंग के पश्चात बीकानेर शहर झुग्गी झोपड़ियों से मुक्त हो जाएगा। अब तक इन झुग्गी झोपड़ियों में रहने वाले लोग अब चकगरबी में सम्मानजनक तरीके से रह सकेंगे।

800 families shifted from slums to Chakgarbi

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Around 800 families, who were shifted from decades-old slums at various places including Sriganganagar Road, have been shifted to Chakgarbi. Where basic facilities have been arranged for these families. At the same time, about 100 children here have joined the mainstream of education.

District Collector Bhagwati Prasad Kalal said that the people living in slums along the roads are prone to accidents. At the same time, basic facilities like electricity, water and toilets are not available at these places.

He told that in view of this, in a phased manner, families living in slums were identified in various places of the city including Sriganganagar Road and after about three-four months of consultation, they were prepared for respectable shifting.

Fifteen by fifteen feet plots were given to these families by the UIT, determining the location in Chakgarbi. Before the shifting of the families, tubes were prepared here. Community toilets and bathrooms were built. Sanction was given for the construction of community hall. Road lights and roads were arranged there.

The District Collector said that after this 800 families were shifted here in a phased manner. About 750 of these families have started living here. The rest will also come here soon.

The District Collector told that two plans A and B were prepared in Chakgarbi. About 400 families have been shifted in each plan. Here all the basic facilities have been provided in two sets. At the same time, domestic connections are being given to these families through the Electricity Department.
