जोधपुर, @MaruSangramnews। राजस्थान के फलोदी जिले में बुधवार को एक अनूठी शादी देखने को मिली। आऊ के निकटवर्ती तेजासर बरसिंगों के बास केरला गांव के किसान परिवार के बेटे ओमप्रकाश मायला ने अपनी शादी को न सिर्फ यादगार, बल्कि पूरे क्षेत्र के लिए गर्व का विषय बना दिया।
ओमप्रकाश की बारात 121 ट्रैक्टरों के काफिले के साथ दुल्हन पुष्पा के गांव धर्मसागर जेरिया पहुंची, जिसमें करीब 300 बाराती शामिल हुए। यह नजारा देखते ही बनता था – जहां से बारात निकली, वहां से लेकर दुल्हन के घर तक रास्ते में लोग इस ऐतिहासिक पल को देखने के लिए उमड़ पड़े।
परंपरा और आधुनिकता का अनूठा मेल
इस शादी की सबसे खास बात रही कि दूल्हा ओमप्रकाश खुद ट्रैक्टर चलाकर बारात लेकर ससुराल पहुंचा और शादी के बाद दुल्हन पुष्पा को भी उसी ट्रैक्टर पर विदा कराकर अपने घर लाया। दोनों गांवों के बीच करीब 15 किलोमीटर का सफर ट्रैक्टरों के काफिले के साथ तय हुआ।
ओमप्रकाश के पिता बाबूराम मायला ने बताया कि पुराने समय में बारात बैलगाड़ी और ऊंटों पर जाया करती थी, लेकिन अब समय बदल गया है। आजकल लोग लग्जरी गाड़ियों से बारात ले जाते हैं, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने बेटे की शादी को खास बनाने के लिए गांव की परंपरा को जीवित रखा। बारातियों को पारंपरिक रीति-रिवाज के अनुसार ही पीला चावल देकर न्योता दिया गया, जो कि गांवों की परंपरा मानी जाती है।

Jodhpur, @MaruSangramnews. A unique wedding was seen on Wednesday in Phalodi district of Rajasthan. Omprakash Mayla, son of a farmer family of Bas Kerala village of Tejasar Barsingon near Aau, made his wedding not only memorable but also a matter of pride for the entire region.
Omprakash’s procession reached the bride Pushpa’s village Dharmasagar Jeria with a convoy of 121 tractors, in which about 300 baraatis participated. This scene was worth seeing – from the place where the procession started, to the bride’s house, people gathered on the way to see this historic moment.
A unique blend of tradition and modernity
The most special thing about this wedding was that the groom Omprakash himself drove a tractor to his in-laws’ house with the wedding procession and after the wedding, he also sent off the bride Pushpa on the same tractor and brought her home. The journey of about 15 km between the two villages was covered with a convoy of tractors.
Omprakash’s father Baburam Mayla said that in old times, the wedding procession used to go on bullock carts and camels, but now times have changed. Nowadays people take the wedding procession in luxury cars, but he kept the tradition of the village alive to make his son’s wedding special. The wedding guests were invited by giving them yellow rice as per the traditional customs, which is considered a tradition of the villages.
