भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ ने जारी किया सत्र 2023-24 का खेल प्रतियोगिता केलेंडर
एमजीएसयू आयोजित करेगा अंतर विश्वविद्यालयी पश्चिम क्षेत्र महिला बास्केबाल टूर्नामेंट
बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ नई दिल्ली द्वारा सत्र 2023-24 के लिए महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, बीकानेर को पश्चिम क्षेत्र अन्तर विश्वविद्यालयी महिला बास्केटबाल प्रतियोगिता आयोजित कराने की जिम्मेदारी प्रदान की है।
मंगलवार को भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ (AIU) द्वारा जारी कलेण्डर में महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, बीकानेर को उक्त प्रतियोगिता आवंटित की गई है।
मीडिया प्रभारी डाॅ. मेघना शर्मा ने बताया कि विश्वविद्यालय में स्थिति इण्डोर स्पोर्ट्स काॅम्पलेक्स में उपलब्ध सुविधाओं को दृष्टिगत रखते हुए उक्त प्रतियोगिता को आयोजित कराने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है।
आयोजन का आवंटन होने पर विश्वविद्यालय कुलपति आचार्य मनोज दीक्षित एवं कुलसचिव श्री अरूण प्रकाश शर्मा द्वारा हर्ष व्यक्त करते हुए भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय संघ के प्रति आभार प्रकट किया गया।
इस अवसर पर कुलपति दीक्षित ने कहा कि आने वाले समय में विश्वविद्यालय की पहचान स्पोर्ट्स हब के रूप में होगी तथा परिसर में खेलकूद गतिविधियों के साथ-साथ खिलाड़ियों के प्रशिक्षण देने की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय में राष्ट्रीय स्तर की प्रतियोगिता के आयोजन से इस क्षेत्र के खिलाड़ियों को सीखने का अवसर प्राप्त होगा। इस अवसर पर यूनिवर्सिटी स्पोर्ट्स सहायक निदेशक यशवंत गहलोत भी उपस्थित रहे।

Association of Indian Universities released the sports competition calendar for the session 2023-24.
MGSU to organize Inter-University West Region Women’s Basketball Tournament
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi has given the responsibility of organizing the West Zone Inter-University Women’s Basketball Competition to Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner for the session 2023-24.
The said competition has been allotted to Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner in the calendar released by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) on Tuesday.
Media in-charge Dr. Meghna Sharma said that keeping in view the facilities available in the Indoor Sports Complex in the university, the responsibility of organizing the said competition has been given.
On allotment of the event, University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Manoj Dixit and Registrar Mr. Arun Prakash Sharma expressed their happiness and expressed gratitude to the Indian Universities Association.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dixit said that in the coming time, the university will be identified as a sports hub and along with sports activities, facilities for training of players will be provided in the campus.
He said that by organizing national level competition in the university, the players of this region will get an opportunity to learn. University Sports Assistant Director Yashwant Gehlot was also present on this occasion.
