Bikaner News:

Bikaner News: Demanding challans for littering, Hemant Katela submitted a letter to the Municipal Commissioner…

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. In order to strengthen the city’s sanitation system and curb the littering in public places, Hemant Katela, representative of Ward No. 28 Councilor Lakshmi Devi Katela, has written a letter to the Municipal Commissioner, Bikaner, demanding action as per the rules under Section 233 of the Rajasthan Municipal Corporation Act, 2009.

Hemant Katela stated in the letter that the public faces inconvenience due to the dumping of garbage and filth on roads, streets, markets, and public places in various areas of the city. This not only impacts the city’s sanitation system but can also adversely affect the health of citizens.

He demanded that the cleanliness drive be launched in Ward No. 28, and that those littering in public places be subject to challans and fines as per the rules. Shopkeepers, traders, and the general public be made aware of cleanliness, ensuring everyone’s participation in keeping the city clean.

Demand for Fixing Officials’ Responsibilities

The letter urged regular monitoring of the ward’s main markets, roads, streets, and other public places, effective garbage collection, and the determination of the responsibilities of the concerned officials and employees. Hemant Katela also demanded that a report be prepared on the actions taken during the drive so that the cleanliness system can be effectively implemented in the future.

Clean Bikaner will be achieved not only through cleanliness, but through public participation

Hemant Katela said that building a clean and beautiful Bikaner is not possible solely through the efforts of sanitation workers, but every citizen must understand their responsibility. If the public disposes of garbage in designated areas and avoids littering in public areas, the city’s sanitation system can be significantly improved.

He urged the Municipal Corporation administration to take this matter seriously and issue necessary instructions, and to effectively launch the cleanliness campaign from Ward No. 28.

Hemant Katela appealed to the public to maintain cleanliness around them, not litter in public places, and cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in building a clean Bikaner.
