ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों को संरक्षित करना हमारा सामूहिक कर्त्तव्य : पुलिस महानिरीक्षक

बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। विश्व विरासत दिवस के अवसर पर पुरातत्व एवं संग्रहालय विभाग द्वारा राजकीय गंगा संग्रहालय परिसर में मंगलवार को ‘हमारी विरासत, हमारा गौरव’ विषयक एक दिवसीय प्रदर्शनी आयोजित की गई। बीकानेर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक श्री ओमप्रकाश ने इसका शुभारंभ किया।

इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों का संरक्षण हमारा कर्त्तव्य है। बीकानेर के ऐतिहासिक धरोहरें देश-विदेश में अपनी विशेष पहचान रखती हैं। इन्हें देखने के लिए प्रतिवर्ष हजारों देशी-विदेशी पर्यटक बीकानेर आते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसी प्रदर्शनी समय-समय पर आयोजित की जाना चाहिए, जिससे युवाओं को यहां के ऐतिहासिक गौरव की जानकारी मिल सके।

पुरातत्व एवं संग्रहालय विभाग के वृत्ताधिकारी महेंद्र निम्हल ने बताया कि प्रदर्शनी में बीकानेर जिले के संरक्षित स्मारक, बीकाजी की टेकरी, लक्ष्मीनाथ मंदिर, राज रतन बिहारी मंदिर, देवी कुंड सागर, रामपुरिया हवेलियों के फोटो प्रदर्शित किए गए। इनके साथ जूनागढ़, भांडाशाह जैन मंदिर, शहरी परकोटे के पांचों दरवाजों के छायाचित्र आमजन के अवलोकनार्थ रखे गए हैं। प्रदर्शनी के दौरान स्कूली विद्यार्थी एवं लाइब्रेरी के पाठक मौजूद रहे।

इस दौरान पुस्तकालय अध्यक्ष विमल शर्मा, मनोहर सिंह, सुमन, शंकर दत्त शर्मा मौजूद रहे।

On the occasion of World Heritage Day, a one-day exhibition titled ‘Our Heritage, Our Pride’ was organized by the Department of Archeology and Museums at the Government Ganga Museum premises on Tuesday. It was inaugurated by Shri Omprakash, Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range.

On this occasion, he said that it is our duty to preserve the historical heritage. The historical heritage of Bikaner has its own special identity in the country and abroad. Thousands of domestic and foreign tourists come to Bikaner every year to see them. He said that such exhibition should be organized from time to time, so that the youth can get information about the historical glory of this place.

Circle Officer of Archeology and Museum Department Mahendra Nimhal said that photographs of protected monuments of Bikaner district, Bikaji ki Tekri, Laxminath Temple, Raj Ratan Bihari Temple, Devi Kund Sagar, Rampuria Havelis were displayed in the exhibition. Along with these, the photographs of the five gates of Junagarh, Bhandashah Jain Temple, Urban Wall have been kept for public viewing. School students and library readers were present during the exhibition.

During this, library president Vimal Sharma, Manohar Singh, Suman, Shankar Dutt Sharma were present.
