स्वामी केशवानंद राजस्थान कृषि विश्वविद्यालय तथा आत्मा के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में कृषि मेला शुरू

बीकानेर, @Marusangram। स्वामी केशवानंद राजस्थान कृषि विश्वविद्यालय और आत्मा के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में तीन दिवसीय किसान मेला सोमवार को प्रारंभ हुआ।
विश्वविद्यालय के स्टेडियम में ‘पोषक अनाज, समृद्ध किसान’ थीम पर आयोजित मेले के मुख्य अतिथि कृषि एवं पशुपालन विभाग मंत्री लालचंद कटारिया थे।

उन्होंने कहा कि देश के विकास का रास्ता खेत और खलिहान से होकर गुजरता है। किसान सशक्त होंगे, तो देश प्रगति के पथ पर आगे बढ़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि मोटे अनाज के उत्पादन में बीकानेर और समूचे पश्चिमी राजस्थान का विशेष योगदान रहा है। पीढ़ियों से मोटा अनाज हमारी थाली का हिस्सा रहा, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे हम इससे दूर होते गए। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना काल में कृषि विशेषज्ञों ने यह चेतावनी दी कि थाली में पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर अनाज नहीं होगा, तो मनुष्य को स्वास्थ्य की दृष्टि से अनेक चुनौतियों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।

उन्होंने कहा कि इसके मध्यनजर हमें मोटे अनाज की ओर बढ़ना होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि आज बाजरे की प्रति हेक्टेयर पैदावार बढ़ाने की जरूरत है। विश्वविद्यालय इस और ध्यान दें। कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि आज दूध उत्पादन में राजस्थान देश के पहले स्थान पर हैं। खेती के नए प्रयोग करते हुए किसान अपनी आय बढ़ा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि जोत सीमित है लेकिन उत्पादन बढ़ाना चुनौती है। इसके लिए हमें खेती की नई तकनीक अपनानी होंगी।

कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि स्वामी केशवानंद राजस्थान कृषि विश्वविद्यालय ऐसे नवाचार करें, जिन्हें देश और दुनिया में देखा जा सके। विश्वविद्यालय गांव गोद लें और तकनीकों को किसानों तक पहुंचाएं।
आपदा प्रबंधन एवं सहायता विभाग मंत्री गोविंद राम मेघवाल ने कहा कि किसान देश की आत्मा है।

भारत की खेती और यहां के खेतीहर मजदूर पूरे देश-दुनिया में अपनी विशेष पहचान रखते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि किसान भी अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दिलाएं, जिससे वे नई तकनीकों की जानकारी ले सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने लगातार बेहतरीन बजट प्रस्तुत करते हुए आमजन को संबल दिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग द्वारा सरकार के वर्तमान कार्यकाल में साढ़े चार हजार करोड़ रुपए का अनुदान दिया गया है।
राजस्थान स्टेट एग्रो इंडस्ट्रीज डेवलपमेंट बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष श्री रामेश्वर डूडी ने कहा कि देश की अर्थव्यवस्था खेती पर निर्भर है। किसान समृद्ध होगा तो देश विकास के पथ पर अग्रसर होगा।

उन्होंने कहा कि कृषि विश्वविद्यालयों को इस दिशा में काम करते हुए नए अनुसंधान करने होंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि नहरी और वर्षा पर निर्भर किसानों की खेती का तरीका अलग-अलग होता है। ऐसे में सभी किसान खेती की नई तकनीकें अपनाएं, जिससे उन्हें लाभ हों। श्री डूडी ने बाजरे की देशी नस्ल प्रोत्साहित करने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रगतिशील किसानों का अनुसरण करते हुए आगे बढ़ें।
ऊर्जा मंत्री श्री भंवर सिंह भाटी ने कहा कि तीन दिन चलने वाले इस मेले के दौरान किसान नई तकनीकों को सीखें और इन्हें अपनाएं।

उन्होंने कहा मुख्यमंत्री श्री अशोक गहलोत ने पांच साल किसानों की बिजली की दरें नहीं बढ़ाने की घोषणा की थी। सरकार ने अपना वादा निभाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री किसान मित्र ऊर्जा योजना, किसानों को प्रतिमाह 2000 यूनिट बिजली विद्युत निशुल्क उपलब्ध करवाने जैसे ऐतिहासिक निर्णय सरकार द्वारा लिए गए हैं।

श्री करण नरेंद्र कृषि विश्वविद्यालय जोबनेर के कुलपति प्रो. बलराज सिंह ने कहा कि नई तकनीकें, कृषि को और अधिक समृद्ध करेगी। किसान मेले के दौरान कृषि विशेषज्ञों से नई बातें सीखे और इन्हें अपनाएं।

स्वामी केशवानंद राजस्थान कृषि विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति डॉ अरुण कुमार ने स्वागत उद्बोधन दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि तीन दिवसीय मेले में 100 से अधिक स्टालें लगाई गई हैं। उन्होंने मेले के दौरान आयोजित होने वाले विभिन्न सत्रों के बारे में जानकारी दी।

इससे पहले अतिथियों ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का विधिवत शुभारंभ किया। अतिथियों ने मेले में लगाए गए स्टोल्स का अवलोकन किया तथा उनकी सराहना की। कार्यक्रम में कृषि विभाग के संयुक्त निदेशक कैलाश चौधरी, विश्वविद्यालय के प्रसार शिक्षा निदेशक डॉ सुभाष चंद्र बलवदा, केसरा राम गोदारा, भागीरथ तेतरवाल, कुलसचिव सुनीता चौधरी, वित्त नियंत्रक पवन कस्वां के अलावा विश्वविद्यालय के डीन-डायरेक्टर कृषि विभाग के अधिकारी सहित हजारों की संख्या में किसान मौजूद रहे।

विभिन्न पुस्तकों का किया विमोचन, वितरित किए पुरस्कार
इस दौरान कृषि मंत्री सहित अन्य अतिथियों ने विभिन्न पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया।

उन्होंने मेला स्मारिका, मशरूम उत्पादन तकनीक, प्रगति के पथ पर अग्रसर कृषि महाविद्यालय: मंडावा, हार्नेसिंग द पोटेंशियल ऑफ मिलेट्स फॉर एग्री एंटरप्रेन्योरशिप पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया।

उन्होंने आत्मा द्वारा चयनित किसानों, विभिन्न कृषक प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं, चौधरी चरण सिंह स्मृति पुरस्कार के विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया। वहीं कृषि विज्ञान केंद्र झुंझुनू के प्रभारी डॉ. दयानंद को सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रसार कार्यकर्ता के रूप में सम्मानित किया। कृषि मंत्री सहित अन्य अतिथियों ने कृषि महाविद्यालय के स्नातकोत्तर कन्या छात्रावास और सभागार का लोकार्पण भी किया।

Universities should innovate, take new technologies to farmers

Agriculture fair started under the joint auspices of Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University and Atma

Bikaner, @Marusangram. The three-day Kisan Mela started on Monday under the joint aegis of Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University and Atma.
Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department Minister Lalchand Kataria was the chief guest of the fair organized on the theme ‘Nutritious grains, prosperous farmers’ at the university stadium.

He said that the path of development of the country passes through the fields and barns. If the farmers are empowered, then the country will move forward on the path of progress. He said that Bikaner and the entire western Rajasthan have made a special contribution in the production of coarse grains. Whole grains have been a part of our plate for generations, but gradually we moved away from it. He said that during the Corona period, agricultural experts warned that if there is no nutrient-rich grains in the plate, then man may have to face many challenges in terms of health.

He said that in view of this we have to move towards coarse grains. He said that today there is a need to increase the per hectare yield of millet. Universities take note of this. The Agriculture Minister said that today Rajasthan ranks first in the country in milk production. The farmer is increasing his income by doing new experiments in farming. He said that the holding is limited but increasing the production is the challenge. For this we have to adopt new techniques of farming.

The Agriculture Minister said that Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University should make such innovations, which can be seen in the country and the world. Adopt the university village and take the technologies to the farmers.
Disaster Management and Assistance Department Minister Govind Ram Meghwal said that the farmer is the soul of the country.

India’s agriculture and its agricultural laborers have a special identity in the whole country and the world. He said that farmers should also provide good education to their children so that they can get information about new techniques. He said that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has continuously strengthened the common man by presenting the best budget. He informed that during the present tenure of the government, a grant of Rs.4500 crore has been given by the Disaster Management Department.
Chairman of Rajasthan State Agro Industries Development Board Shri Rameshwar Dudi said that the country’s economy is dependent on agriculture. If the farmer is prosperous then the country will move on the path of development.

He said that agricultural universities will have to do new research while working in this direction. He said that the method of farming of farmers dependent on canal and rain is different. In such a situation, all the farmers should adopt new techniques of farming, which would benefit them. Mr. Doody called for encouraging the native breed of millet. He said to move forward following the progressive farmers.
Energy Minister Mr. Bhanwar Singh Bhati said that during this three-day long fair, farmers should learn new techniques and adopt them.

He said that Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot had announced not to increase the electricity rates of farmers for five years. The government has kept its promise. He said that historical decisions like Chief Minister Kisan Mitra Urja Yojana, providing 2000 units of electricity free of cost to farmers every month have been taken by the government.

Vice Chancellor of Shri Karan Narendra Agricultural University, Jobner, Prof. Balraj Singh said that new technologies will further enrich agriculture. Learn new things from agriculture experts during Kisan Mela and adopt them.

Dr. Arun Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Swami Kesavanand Rajasthan Agricultural University gave the welcome address. He told that more than 100 stalls have been set up in the three-day fair. He informed about the various sessions to be organized during the fair.

Earlier, the guests duly inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The guests observed and appreciated the stalls put up in the fair. In the program, Joint Director of Agriculture Department Kailash Chaudhary, Director of Extension Education Dr. Subhash Chandra Balvada, Kesra Ram Godara, Bhagirath Tetarwal, Registrar Sunita Chaudhary, Finance Controller Pawan Kaswan, besides officers of the University’s Dean-Director Agriculture Department, thousands numbered. During this, the Agriculture Minister and other guests released various books.

He released the books Mela Souvenir, Mushroom Production Techniques, Agricultural College on the Path of Progress: Mandawa, Harnessing the Potential of Millets for Agri Entrepreneurship.

He awarded the farmers selected by Atma, the winners of various farmer competitions, the winners of the Chaudhary Charan Singh Memorial Award. On the other hand, Dr. Dayanand, in-charge of Krishi Vigyan Kendra Jhunjhunu, was honored as the best extension worker. The Agriculture Minister and other guests also inaugurated the postgraduate girls’ hostel and auditorium of the Agriculture College.
