प्रतापगढ़, @MaruSangram। जिले के देवगढ़ क्षेत्र के भोपाखेड़ा पाल गांव में हुए दोहरे हत्याकांड काखुलासा कर पुलिस ने मृतका के देवर बाबूलाल मीणा और उसकी पत्नी गेंदा बाई को गिरफ्तार किया है। आर्थिक तंगी से जूझ रहे दंपती ने ट्रैक्टर की किस्त चुकाने के लिए महिला मानकी और उसकी पुत्री कमला उर्फ कलिया की हत्या कर लूटपाट की वारदात को अंजाम दिया।

एसपी बी. आदित्य के अनुसार गत 29 मई को मां-बेटी पर धारदार हथियारों से हमला किया गया था। घटना में कमला की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, गंभीर रूप से घायल मानकी ने उपचार के दौरान दम तोड़ दिया।

प्रारंभिक जांच में घर का टूटा ताला और बिखरा सामान मिलने से मामला लूटपाट का प्रतीत हुआ।

आरोपियों ने वारदात के बाद चांदी के आभूषण और नकदी लूट ली तथा आभूषण बेचकर प्राप्त राशि से ट्रैक्टर की किश्त जमा कराई। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को न्यायालय में पेश कर अभिरक्षा प्राप्त की है। मामले में प्रयुक्त हथियारों और शेष आभूषणों की बरामदगी के लिए जांच जारी है।

Police have solved the double murder case in Bhopakheda Pal village in the Devgarh area of ​​the district and arrested the deceased’s brother-in-law, Babulal Meena, and his wife, Genda Bai. The couple, struggling financially, murdered Manki and her daughter, Kamla alias Kalia, and committed robbery to pay the tractor installment.

According to Superintendent of Police B. Aditya, the mother and daughter were attacked with sharp weapons on May 29th. Kamla died on the spot, while Manki, who was seriously injured, succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

Initial investigation indicated a robbery as the house’s lock was broken and belongings were found scattered.

The accused looted silver jewelry and cash after the crime and used the proceeds to pay the installment for the tractor. Police produced both accused in court and obtained custody. The investigation is ongoing to recover the weapons used in the crime and the remaining jewelry.
