बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। गांधी जयंती पर शुक्रवार को गंगाशहर स्थित टी.एम. ऑडिटोरियम में दिशोदय स्पोर्ट्स फाउंडेशन की ओर से पत्रकार, मीडिया एवं डिजिटल क्रिएटर्स सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मीडिया के योगदान को सम्मान देने के साथ युवाओं को खेल और करियर से जोड़ने की दिशा में नई पहल का संदेश दिया गया।
समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि विमर्शानंद महाराज का सान्निध्य रहा। वहीं संभागीय आयुक्त विश्राम मीणा और एमजीएसयू रजिस्ट्रार यशपाल आहूजा, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी राम गोपाल शर्मा, उपमहापौर पंकज जी गहलोत, समाजसेवी महावीर रांका, अभिनेता युधिष्ठर सिंह भाटी सहित प्रशासनिक एवं पुलिस अधिकारियों, शैक्षणिक क्षेत्र से जुड़े प्रतिनिधियों तथा शहर के गणमान्य लोगों की उपस्थिति रही।
कार्यक्रम में प्रिंट मीडिया, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मीडिया, डिजिटल मीडिया, फोटो पत्रकार, सोशल मीडिया एवं कंटेंट क्रिएटर्स को उनके योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं बीकानेर पुलिस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को भी सम्मान प्रदान किया गया।
कार्यक्रम की खास बात यह रही कि आयोजन को केवल सम्मान समारोह तक सीमित नहीं रखा गया। दिशोदय स्पोर्ट्स फाउंडेशन की ओर से युवाओं को खेल के माध्यम से भविष्य और रोजगार के अवसरों से जोड़ने की सोच को सामने रखा गया।
फाउंडेशन के निदेशक उमाशंकर लिम्बा ने कहा कि मीडिया समाज तक सकारात्मक सोच और जागरूकता पहुंचाने की महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी है।
उन्होंने कहा कि डीएसएफ का प्रयास है कि खेल युवाओं के जीवन में केवल प्रतियोगिता नहीं, बल्कि अनुशासन, आत्मविश्वास और करियर का माध्यम भी बने।
उन्होंने कहा,“हमारा उद्देश्य युवाओं को केवल खेल के मैदान तक लाना नहीं, बल्कि खेल के माध्यम से उनके भविष्य की संभावनाओं से जोड़ना है।”
फाउंडेशन की निदेशक निशा लिम्बा ने बताया कि डीएसएफ की आगामी पहल “मिशन प्ले टू प्रोफेशन– खेल से करियर तक” के माध्यम से खिलाड़ियों और युवाओं को खेल से जुड़े विभिन्न करियर विकल्पों की जानकारी और मार्गदर्शन उपलब्ध कराने की दिशा में कार्य किया जाएगा।
उन्होंने बताया कि इस पहल के अंतर्गत कोचिंग, फिजिकल एजुकेशन, फिटनेस, स्पोर्ट्स मैनेजमेंट, रेफरी, स्पोर्ट्स मीडिया और अन्य क्षेत्रों में उपलब्ध संभावनाओं को युवाओं तक पहुंचाने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। इसका विशेष कार्यक्रम 20 दिसंबर 2026 को प्रस्तावित है।
दिशोदय स्पोर्ट्स फाउंडेशन खेल और फिटनेस के साथ नशा मुक्ति जागरूकता, युवा सहभागिता, महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं सामाजिक जागरूकता से जुड़े कार्यक्रमों के माध्यम से युवाओं को सकारात्मक गतिविधियों से जोड़ने का प्रयास कर रहा है।
गांधी जयंती के अवसर पर आयोजित समारोह में यही संदेश प्रमुख रहा कि समाज को सकारात्मक दिशा देने में मीडिया की आवाज और युवाओं की ऊर्जा दोनों महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
कार्यक्रम के अंत में डीएसएफ की ओर से मुख्य अतिथि, प्रशासनिक एवं पुलिस अधिकारियों, मीडिया प्रतिनिधियों, सम्मानित अतिथियों और आयोजन में सहयोग करने वाली पूरी टीम का आभार व्यक्त किया गया।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. On Gandhi Jayanti, Friday, at the TM Auditorium in Gangasagar, Dishoday Sports Foundation organized a ceremony honoring journalists, media, and digital creators. The program honored the contributions of the media and offered a message about a new initiative to connect youth with sports and careers.
The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Vimarshanand Maharaj. Also present were Divisional Commissioner Vishram Meena and MGSU Registrar Yashpal Ahuja, District Education Officer Ram Gopal Sharma, Deputy Mayor Pankaj G. Gehlot, social worker Mahavir Ranka, actor Yudhishthir Singh Bhati, administrative and police officials, representatives from the educational sector, and prominent figures from the city.
At the event, print media, electronic media, digital media, photojournalists, social media, and content creators were honored for their contributions. Senior officers of the Bikaner Police were also honored.
The highlight of the event was that the event wasn’t limited to just an awards ceremony. The Dishoday Sports Foundation championed the idea of connecting youth to future and employment opportunities through sports.
Foundation Director Umashankar Limba stated that media plays an important role in spreading positive thinking and awareness within society.
He added that DSF’s endeavor is to ensure that sports become not just a competition in the lives of youth, but also a vehicle for discipline, self-confidence, and career development.
He stated, “Our goal is not just to bring youth to the playing field, but to connect them to future prospects through sports.”
Foundation Director Nisha Limba stated that DSF’s upcoming initiative, “Mission Play to Profession – From Sports to Career,” will work to provide athletes and youth with information and guidance on various career options related to sports.
He explained that this initiative will focus on providing youth with opportunities in coaching, physical education, fitness, sports management, refereeing, sports media, and other fields. A special event is scheduled for December 20, 2026.
The Dishoday Sports Foundation is working to engage youth in positive activities through programs related to sports and fitness, drug addiction awareness, youth participation, women’s empowerment, and social awareness.
The key message at the event, held on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, was that both the voice of the media and the energy of youth are crucial in shaping society in a positive direction.
At the end of the event, DSF expressed gratitude to the chief guest, administrative and police officers, media representatives, honored guests, and the entire team that supported the event.
