आज का प्रेरक प्रसंग
!! प्यार भरा बर्ताव !!
सरकारी कार्यालय में लंबी लाइन लगी हुई थी। खिड़की पर जो क्लर्क बैठा हुआ था, वह तल्ख़ मिजाज़ का था और सभी से तेज स्वर में बात कर रहा था।
उस समय भी एक महिला को डांटते हुए वह कह रहा था, “आपको ज़रा भी पता नहीं चलता, यह फॉर्म भर कर लायीं हैं, कुछ भी सही नहीं। सरकार ने फॉर्म फ्री कर रखा है तो कुछ भी भर दो, जेब का पैसा लगता तो दस लोगों से पूछ कर भरतीं आप।”
एक व्यक्ति पंक्ति में पीछे खड़ा काफी देर से यह देख रहा था, वह पंक्ति से बाहर निकल कर, पीछे के रास्ते से उस क्लर्क के पास जाकर खड़ा हो गया और वहीँ रखे मटके से पानी का एक गिलास भरकर उस क्लर्क की तरफ बढ़ा दिया।
क्लर्क ने उस व्यक्ति की तरफ आँखें तरेर कर देखा और गर्दन उचका कर ‘क्या है?’ का इशारा किया।
उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “सर, काफी देर से आप बोल रहे हैं, गला सूख गया होगा, पानी पी लीजिये।”
क्लर्क ने पानी का गिलास हाथ में ले लिया और उसकी तरफ ऐसे देखा जैसे किसी दूसरे ग्रह के प्राणी को देख लिया हो!
और कहा, “जानते हो, मैं कडुवा सच बोलता हूँ, इसलिए सब नाराज़ रहते हैं, चपरासी तक मुझे पानी नहीं पिलाता!”
वह व्यक्ति मुस्कुरा दिया और फिर पंक्ति में अपने स्थान पर जाकर खड़ा हो गया।
अब उस क्लर्क का मिजाज बदल चुका था, काफी शांत मन से उसने सभी से बात की और सबको अच्छे से सेवाएं देनी शुरू की।
शाम को उस व्यक्ति के पास एक फ़ोन आया, दूसरी तरफ वही क्लर्क था, उसने कहा, “भाईसाहब, आपका नंबर आपके फॉर्म से लिया था, शुक्रिया अदा करने के लिये फ़ोन किया है।
मेरी माँ और पत्नी में बिल्कुल नहीं बनती, आज भी जब मैं घर पहुंचा तो दोनों बहस कर रहीं थी, लेकिन आपका गुरुमन्त्र काम आ गया।”
वह व्यक्ति चौंका, और कहा, “जी? गुरुमंत्र?”
“जी हाँ, मैंने एक गिलास पानी अपनी माँ को दिया और दूसरा अपनी पत्नी को और यह कहा कि गला सूख रहा होगा पानी पी लो। बस तब से हम तीनों हँसते-खेलते बातें कर रहे हैं। अब भाईसाहब, आज खाने पर आप हमारे घर आ जाइये।”
“जी! लेकिन, खाने पर क्यों?”
क्लर्क ने भर्राये हुए स्वर में उत्तर दिया,
“गुरू माना है तो इतनी दक्षिणा तो बनेगी ना आपकी और ये भी जानना चाहता हूँ, एक गिलास पानी में इतना जादू है तो खाने में कितना होगा?”
शिक्षा:-
दूसरों के क्रोध को प्यार से ही दूर किया जा सकता है। कभी-कभी हमारे एक छोटे से प्यार भरे बर्ताव से दूसरे इंसान में बहुत बड़ा परिवर्तन हो जाता है और प्यार भरे रिश्तों की एकाएक शुरूआत होने लगती है जिससे घर और कार्यस्थल पर मन को सुकुन मिलता है।
सदैव प्रसन्न रहिये – जो प्राप्त है, पर्याप्त है।
जिसका मन मस्त है – उसके पास समस्त है।।

!! Loving Behavior!!
There was a long queue at the government office. The clerk sitting at the window was short-tempered and speaking loudly to everyone.
Even then, he was scolding a woman, saying, “You have no idea. You’ve filled out these forms, nothing is correct. The government has made the forms free, so fill them out. If it cost you money, you would have asked ten people before filling them out.”
A man standing at the back of the line had been watching this for a long time. He stepped out of the line, went to the clerk from the back door, filled a glass of water from the pot kept there, and offered it to her.
The clerk glared at the man and raised his head, asking, “What’s wrong?”
The man said, “Sir, you’ve been talking for a long time. Your throat must be dry. Please have a drink of water.”
The clerk took the glass of water in his hand and looked at him as if he were a being from another planet!
And said, “You know, I tell the bitter truth, that’s why everyone gets angry. Even the peon won’t give me water!”
The man smiled and went back to his place in the queue.
The clerk’s mood had changed. Now, he spoke to everyone with a calm mind and began serving them all well.
That evening, the man received a call. The same clerk was on the other end. He said, “Brother, I took your number from your form and called to thank you.
My mother and wife don’t get along at all. Even today, when I got home, they were arguing. But your guru mantra came in handy.”
The man was startled and said, “Yes? Guru mantra?”
“Yes, I gave a glass of water to my mother and another to my wife, telling her that her throat must be dry, so drink some water. Since then, the three of us have been laughing and chatting. Now, brother, please come to our house for dinner today.”
“Yes! But why for dinner?”
The clerk replied in a choked voice, “If you have accepted me as your guru, you will receive this much dakshina (offering). And I also want to know, if a glass of water has so much magic, how much will be there in food?”
Moral:
“Only love can dispel the anger of others.” Sometimes, a small act of love can bring about a profound change in another person, and a loving relationship suddenly begins, bringing peace to the mind at home and at work.
Always be happy – what you have is enough.
He who has a happy mind has everything.
