!! परिस्थितियाँ नहीं, निर्णय महान बनाते हैं !!
वाराणसी के पास एक छोटे से गाँव में आदित्य नाम का एक बालक रहता था। उसके पिता एक साधारण किसान थे और घर की आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत मजबूत नहीं थी। कई बार तो ऐसी परिस्थिति बन जाती कि पढ़ाई और परिवार के खर्च में से किसी एक को चुनना पड़ता।
आदित्य बचपन से ही मेधावी था। विद्यालय में शिक्षक उसकी लगन की प्रशंसा करते थे, परंतु परिस्थितियाँ बार-बार उसके सामने दीवार बनकर खड़ी हो जातीं। एक दिन उसके पिता ने कहा, “बेटा, अगर चाहो तो पढ़ाई छोड़कर खेत में हाथ बँटा दो, घर को सहारा मिल जाएगा।”
यह सुनकर आदित्य की आँखों में आँसू आ गए, पर उसने मन में एक दृढ़ निश्चय किया। उसने पिता के चरण छूकर कहा, “पिताजी, मैं खेत में भी मदद करूँगा और पढ़ाई भी करूँगा। मैं परिस्थितियों से हार नहीं मानूँगा।”
अब उसका दिन सूर्योदय से पहले शुरू होता। सुबह खेत में काम, फिर स्कूल, और रात में लालटेन की रोशनी में पढ़ाई। कई बार थकान से आँखें बंद होने लगतीं, पर वह स्वयं से कहता —
“अगर अभी रुक गया तो सपने अधूरे रह जाएँगे।”
समय बीतता गया। मेहनत रंग लाई। बोर्ड परीक्षा में आदित्य ने पूरे जिले में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। गाँव में पहली बार किसी छात्र का नाम अखबार में छपा था।
उसके शिक्षक ने मंच पर कहा, “आदित्य की सफलता उसकी परिस्थिति की नहीं, उसके निर्णय की जीत है।”
आगे चलकर उसने उच्च शिक्षा प्राप्त की और अपने क्षेत्र में एक सफल अधिकारी बना। जब वह वर्षों बाद अपने गाँव लौटा तो विद्यालय में बच्चों से बोला —
“गरीबी, कठिनाई, अभाव — ये सब जीवन की परीक्षा हैं। लेकिन याद रखो, परीक्षा हमें गिराने नहीं, उठाने आती है। यदि इरादा मजबूत हो तो हालात भी रास्ता बदल लेते हैं।”
उस दिन गाँव के अनेक बच्चों की आँखों में नया सपना जागा।
शिक्षा:
परिस्थितियाँ चाहे जैसी हों, यदि संकल्प अटल हो और परिश्रम निरंतर, तो सफलता निश्चित है। महानता जन्म से नहीं, दृढ़ निर्णय से बनती है।
सदैव प्रसन्न रहिये – जो प्राप्त है, पर्याप्त है।
जिसका मन मस्त है – उसके पास समस्त है।।

!! It’s decisions, not circumstances, that make one great!!
A boy named Aditya lived in a small village near Varanasi. His father was a simple farmer, and the family’s financial situation was not very strong. Often, he had to choose between studies and family expenses.
Aditya was a brilliant student from childhood. His teachers at school praised his dedication, but circumstances repeatedly stood in his way. One day, his father said, “Son, if you want, you can quit your studies and help in the fields. You’ll support the family.”
Tears welled up in Aditya’s eyes, but he made a firm resolve. He touched his father’s feet and said, “Father, I will help in the fields and also study. I will not give in to circumstances.”
Now his day began before sunrise. Morning work in the fields, then school, and at night studying by lantern light. Sometimes his eyes would close from fatigue, but he would say to himself, “If I stop now, my dreams will remain unfulfilled.”
Time passed. His hard work paid off. Aditya secured first place in the entire district in the board exams. This was the first time a student from his village had his name published in the newspaper.
His teacher said on stage, “Aditya’s success is not a result of his circumstances, but of his determination.”
He later received higher education and became a successful officer in his field. When he returned to his village years later, he told the children at school, “Poverty, hardship, and deprivation—these are life’s tests. But remember, tests come to lift us up, not to bring us down. If our resolve is strong, even circumstances can change.”
That day, many children in the village saw a new dream.
Moral:
No matter the circumstances, if your resolve is unwavering and your hard work is continuous, success is certain. Greatness is not achieved by birth, but by firm resolve.
Always be happy – what you have is enough.
He who has a happy mind has everything.
