!!अहंकार का अंत!!
एक विशाल जंगल में एक बहुत बड़ा और शक्तिशाली हाथी रहता था। अपनी ताकत पर उसे बहुत घमंड था। वह जंगल में घूमते हुए छोटे-छोटे जीवों को तंग करता और पेड़ों को बिना कारण गिरा देता।
एक दिन वह एक पेड़ के नीचे बने छोटे से चींटियों के बिल के पास पहुँचा। उसने मज़ाक उड़ाते हुए कहा,
“तुम छोटी-सी चींटियाँ क्या कर सकती हो? मेरी एक चाल से तुम्हारा पूरा घर नष्ट हो जाएगा।”
यह कहकर उसने अपने पैरों से उस बिल को कुचल दिया। चींटियाँ बहुत दुखी हुईं। उन्होंने निश्चय किया कि अहंकारी हाथी को सबक सिखाना चाहिए।
एक दिन जब हाथी सो रहा था, तब कई चींटियाँ उसके कान के अंदर चली गईं। वे उसे काटने लगीं। हाथी दर्द से तड़पने लगा। वह इधर-उधर भागने लगा, लेकिन उसे राहत नहीं मिली।
आखिरकार वह दर्द से परेशान होकर चींटियों से क्षमा माँगने लगा। उसने वचन दिया कि आगे से वह कभी किसी छोटे जीव को तंग नहीं करेगा।
चींटियों ने उसे क्षमा कर दिया। उस दिन से हाथी का घमंड टूट गया और वह सभी जीवों के साथ विनम्रता से रहने लगा।
शिक्षा
अहंकार चाहे कितना भी बड़ा क्यों न हो, उसका अंत निश्चित होता है।
सदैव प्रसन्न रहिये – जो प्राप्त है, पर्याप्त है।
जिसका मन मस्त है – उसके पास समस्त है।।

!!The End of Arrogance!!
A very large and powerful elephant lived in a vast forest. He was very proud of his strength. He roamed the forest, harassing small creatures and felling trees without reason.
One day, he came upon a small anthill under a tree. He mockingly said, “What can you little ants do? One move of mine will destroy your entire home.”
Saying this, he crushed the hole with his feet. The ants were very sad. They decided to teach the arrogant elephant a lesson.
One day, while the elephant was sleeping, several ants went into his ear. They began biting him. The elephant writhed in pain. He ran here and there, but found no relief.
Finally, exhausted by the pain, he begged the ants for forgiveness. He promised never to harass any small creature again.
The ants forgave him. From that day on, the elephant’s pride was shattered, and he began to live with humility with all living creatures.
Moral:
No matter how big the ego, its end is certain.
Always be happy – what you have is enough.
One who has a happy mind has everything.
