बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। एसबीआई स्टाफ फेडरेशन (एआइएबीआईएसफ) के आह्वान पर शुक्रवार को बीकानेर में बैंक कर्मचारियों ने प्रशानिक कार्यालय एसबीआई पब्लिक पार्क ब्रांच के सामने मौन धरना देकर विरोध जताया। जिसमें रिक्त पदों पर भर्ती, आउटसोर्सिंग पर रोक, पेंशन और वित्तीय विसंगतियों के समाधान की मांग की गई।

अगर मांगें नहीं मानी गईं, तो आंदोलन के तहत 25 और 26 मई को देशव्यापी हड़ताल होगी। धरने में शामिल स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया स्टाफ एसोसिएशन बीकानेर के उप महासचिव मुकेश शर्मा ने कहा कि यूनियन ने 16 सूत्रीय मांग पत्र जारी कर बैंक की कार्यप्रणाली, कर्मचारियों की भारी कमी और ग्राहकों की सुरक्षा से जुड़े गंभीर मुद्दे उठाए हैं।

उन्होने बताया कि पिछले 29 वर्षों से बैंक में मैसेंजर की भर्ती नहीं की गई है, जिससे क्लेरिकल स्टाफ को ही मैसेंजर का काम करना पड़ रहा है।

क्लर्क संवर्ग में भी भर्तियां लगातार घटने से कर्मचारियों पर काम का भारी दबाव है। वहीं, बैंक द्वारा सशस्त्र गार्ड्स की आखिरी भर्ती वर्ष 2022 में की गई थी।

एटीएम चोरी और बैंक डकैती के बढ़ते प्रयासों के बावजूद गार्ड्स की संख्या कम होना बैंक की संपत्ति और ग्राहकों की सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा खतरा बन गया है। इसके अलावा प्रबंधन द्वारा स्थायी प्रकृति के कार्यों को आउटसोर्स किया जा रहा है।

बाहरी कर्मचारियों की बैंक के संवेदनशील डेटा और केवाईसी तक पहुंच होने से डेटा लीक, धोखाधड़ी और पहचान चोरी का गंभीर जोखिम पैदा हो गया है। इसके अलावा व्यापारिक टार्गेट के भारी दबाव में क्रॉस-सेलिंग के नाम पर ग्राहकों को गलत बीमा उत्पाद बेचे जा रहे हैं, जो सीधे तौर पर भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक और बीमा नियामक के दिशा-निर्देशों का खुला उल्लंघन है।

प्रदर्शकाकरी बैंक कर्मचारियों ने आरोप है कि वित्त मंत्रालय के स्पष्ट निर्देशों के बावजूद एसबीआई अपने कर्मचारियों को एनपीएस के तहत ‘पेंशन फंड मैनेजर’ चुनने का विकल्प नहीं दे रहा है।

12वें द्विपक्षीय समझौते में सभी के लिए 17 प्रतिशत वेतन वृद्धि तय हुई थी, लेकिन बैंक ने अधिकारियों को स्पेशल पे देकर उनकी वृद्धि 22 प्रतिशत कर दी है, जिससे समानता खत्म हो गई है। इसके अलावा 100 प्रतिशत मेडिकल रीइम्बर्समेंट, इलाज में पंचकर्म को शामिल करने और 2019 के बाद भर्ती हुए कर्मचारियों के रोके गए इंटर सर्कल ट्रांसफर को दोबारा शुरू करने की मांग की गई है।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Bank employees in Bikaner protested by staging a silent protest in front of the administrative office, SBI Public Park Branch, on Friday, following the call of the SBI Staff Federation (AIABISF). They demanded recruitment to vacant positions, a ban on outsourcing, pensions, and resolution of financial discrepancies.

If the demands are not met, the protest will lead to a nationwide strike on May 25th and 26th. Mukesh Sharma, Deputy General Secretary of the State Bank of India Staff Association, Bikaner, who participated in the protest, said the union issued a 16-point memorandum raising serious issues related to the bank’s functioning, a severe staff shortage, and customer safety.

He explained that the bank has not recruited messengers for the past 29 years, forcing clerical staff to perform messenger duties.

The continuous decline in recruitment in the clerical cadre has also led to significant work pressure on employees. The bank last recruited armed guards in 2022.

Despite the increasing number of ATM thefts and bank robberies, the reduced number of guards poses a significant threat to the bank’s assets and customer security. Furthermore, management is outsourcing even permanent tasks.

External employees’ access to the bank’s sensitive data and KYC procedures poses a serious risk of data leaks, fraud, and identity theft. Furthermore, under intense pressure to meet business targets, misguided insurance products are being sold to customers under the guise of cross-selling, a blatant violation of Reserve Bank of India and insurance regulator guidelines.

Protesting bank employees allege that despite clear instructions from the Finance Ministry, SBI is not giving its employees the option to choose a “Pension Fund Manager” under the NPS.

The 12th Bilateral Agreement stipulated a 17 percent salary increase for all, but the bank has increased the pay of officers to 22 percent by granting them special pay, thereby eliminating equality. Apart from this, demands have been made for 100 percent medical reimbursement, inclusion of Panchakarma in treatment and resumption of inter-circle transfer of employees recruited after 2019 which was stopped.
