बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। बीकानेर शहर पुलिस के सहयोग से बीकेईएसएल ने भुट्टो की मस्जिद क्षेत्र में पुलिस चोरी रोकने के लिए दिनभर कार्रवाई की। इस इलाके में हर महीने करीब दस लाख रुपए की बिजली चोरी हो रही थी।

बीकेईएसएल के सीओओ जयंत राय चौधरी ने बताया कि पुलिस की मौजूदगी में कम्पनी की 28 टीमों ने बुधवार को सुबह से ही भुट्टो की मस्जिद क्षेत्र में दो विद्युत वितरण ट्रांसफर से जुड़े करीब 131 उपभोक्ताओं के अंदर लगे मीटरों को नियमानुसार बाहर लगाने की कार्रवाई की गई।

इस दौरान कटी फटी सर्विस केबल को बदला गया। इसके अलावा क्षेत्र में खुले तारों की जगह आर्मेड केबल लगाई गई जिससे लाइन से बिजली चोरी नहीं की जा सके। कम्पनी की 28 टीमों के 112 कर्मचारियों ने ट्रांसफर और पुराने नेटवर्क हटाकर नया नेटवर्क लगाया, जिससे उपभोक्ताओं को अच्छी गुणवत्ता की बिजली मिलेगी। इस दौरान 100 उपभोक्ताओं के मीटर व सर्विस केबल को बदला गया।

चौधरी ने बताया कि इन दो ट्रांसफरों से जुड़े उपभोक्ता हर महीने करीब एक लाख 20 हजार यूनिट बिजली की चोरी कर रहे थे। उन्होंने बताया कि पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से करीब 60 पुलिस अधिकारी व कर्मचारी के साथ मजिस्ट्रेट भी मौके पर मौजूद थे। इसके अलावा बीकेईएसएल के 20 से अधिक अधिकारी भी मौजूद रहे। इस इलाके में काफी दिनों से बिजली चोरी की जा रही थी। उन्होंने बताया कि जिन लोगों के अवैध कनेक्शन काटे गए, उन लोगों के लिए सोमवार या मंगलवार को शिविर लगाया जाएगा।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. With the support of Bikaner city police, BKESL conducted a day-long operation in the Bhutto Ki Masjid area to stop electricity theft. Electricity worth approximately Rs 10 lakh was being stolen every month.

BKESL COO Jayant Rai Chaudhary stated that in the presence of police, 28 company teams began Wednesday morning to reinstall the meters installed inside the premises of approximately 131 consumers connected to two power distribution transformers in the Bhutto Ki Masjid area, as per the rules.

During this time, damaged service cables were replaced. Additionally, armored cables were installed in place of exposed wires in the area to prevent power theft. 112 employees from 28 company teams removed the old transfer and network and installed a new network, ensuring better quality electricity for consumers. During this period, the meters and service cables of 100 consumers were replaced.

Chaudhary stated that consumers connected to these two transfers were stealing approximately 120,000 units of electricity per month. He stated that approximately 60 police officers and personnel, along with a magistrate, were present on the scene. Furthermore, more than 20 BKESL officials were also present. Electricity theft had been prevalent in this area for a long time. He stated that a camp would be set up on Monday or Tuesday for those whose illegal connections were disconnected.
