भीलवाड़ा, @MaruSangram। राजस्थान के भीलवाड़ा जिले में बुधवार देर रात एंटी नारकोटिक्स टास्क फोर्स की नाकाबंदी के दौरान पुलिस और तस्करों के बीच मुठभेड़ हो गई। पुलिस को देखकर तस्करों ने बैरिकेडिंग तोड़ दी और भागने लगे। पीछा करने पर तस्करों ने पुलिस टीम पर फायरिंग कर दी।
पुलिस की जवाबी कार्रवाई में जोधपुर के भोपालगढ़ निवासी गणेशराम उर्फ गणपत की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। उसके सीने और पसलियों में गोली लगने की पुष्टि हुई है। मृतक पर मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी के कई मामले दर्ज बताए गए हैं।
घटना के दौरान एक तस्कर को हिरासत में लिया गया, जबकि दूसरा अंधेरे का फायदा उठाकर फरार हो गया। उसकी तलाश में पूरे जिले में नाकाबंदी कर सर्च अभियान चलाया गया।
घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस अधीक्षक सागर राणा सहित वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे। एफएसएल टीम ने घटनास्थल से साक्ष्य जुटाए और तस्करों की कार को जब्त कर लिया। शव को महात्मा गांधी अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाया गया है।

Bhilwara, @MaruSangram. An encounter broke out between police and smugglers during a blockade by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force in Bhilwara district, Rajasthan, late Wednesday night. Upon seeing the police, the smugglers broke through the barricades and fled. When chased, the smugglers opened fire on the police team.
Ganeshram alias Ganpat, a resident of Bhopalgarh, Jodhpur, died on the spot in the police retaliation. He was confirmed to have sustained gunshot wounds to the chest and ribs. The deceased was reportedly facing several cases of drug trafficking.
One smuggler was detained during the incident, while the other escaped under cover of darkness. A search operation was launched to locate him, with blockades imposed across the district.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Sagar Rana and other senior officers arrived at the scene. The FSL team collected evidence from the scene and seized the smugglers’ car. The body has been kept in the mortuary at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
