बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। पर्यटन आज उद्योग का दर्जा ले चुका है। हजार हवेलियों के शहर बीकानेर में ऐतिहासिक विरासत और पर्यटन स्थलों को मज़बूत बनाना और इस उद्योग को उन्नत करना समय की मांग है।

उक्त विचार एमजीएसयू कुलपति आचार्य मनोज दीक्षित ने गुरुवार तड़के सचिवालय में व्यक्त किये।

दीक्षित द्वारा आज ख्यात इतिहासकार प्रो. तेज कुमार माथुर के बीकानेर आगमन के अवसर पर पर्यटन विषय को लेकर चर्चा के दौरान बीकानेर के इतिहास के विभिन्न आयामों पर विस्तृत बातचीत हुई।

इतिहास विभाग की संकाय सदस्या व विश्वविद्यालय मीडिया प्रभारी डॉ. मेघना शर्मा ने भी कुलपति सचिवालय में आचार्य दीक्षित की उपस्थिति में प्रो. माथुर को अपनी हालिया प्रकाशित दो पुस्तकें भेंट कीं।

इससे पूर्व आचार्य दीक्षित ने प्रो. माथुर को शॉल, उपरिया, पुष्पगुच्छ व स्मृति चिन्ह देकर उनका स्वागत किया।

प्रो. माथुर ने चर्चा के दौरान बीकानेर के आधुनिकीकरण में महाराजा गंगा सिंह के योगदान को स्मरण किया। सेवानिवृत इतिहास विषय के व्याख्याता डॉ. पी. एम. जैन भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित रहे।

The above views were expressed by MGSU Vice Chancellor Acharya Manoj Dixit in the secretariat early Thursday.

Today by Dixit, renowned historian Prof. On the occasion of Tej Kumar Mathur’s arrival in Bikaner, during the discussion on the topic of tourism, there was a detailed discussion on various aspects of the history of Bikaner.

Dr. Meghna Sharma, faculty member of the History Department and university media in-charge, also met Prof. in the presence of Acharya Dixit in the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat. Presented two of his recently published books to Mathur.

Before this, Acharya Dixit told Prof. Mathur was welcomed by giving him shawl, upriya, flower bunch and memento.

Pro. During the discussion, Mathur recalled the contribution of Maharaja Ganga Singh in the modernization of Bikaner. Retired history lecturer Dr. P.M. Jain was also present on this occasion.
