मुंबई, @MaruSangram।मुंबई में एक व्यक्ति ने 25 वर्षीय एक महिला का ब्लेड से गला कथित तौर पर काट दिया। एक पुलिस अधिकारी ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि महिला ने व्यक्ति के विवाह प्रस्ताव को ठुकरा दिया था तथा उसका अपमान किया था। उन्होंने बताया कि घटना मंगलवार को दोपहर में कालाचौकी इलाके में महिला के घर पर हुई।
अधिकारी ने बताया कि महिला को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया तथा उसकी हालत गंभीर है। उन्होंने बताया कि 44 वर्षीय आरोपी पेशे से चालक है तथा वह कालाचौकी इलाके के परशुराम नगर में रहता है. अधिकारी ने बताया कि आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है।

पुलिस ने बताया कि सोमवार की रात दोनों के बीच कुछ बहस हुई और महिला ने कुछ लोगों के सामने उसका अपमान किया।
अधिकारी ने बताया कि मंगलवार को दोपहर में आरोपी महिला के घर में घुस गया और ब्लेड से उसका गला कथित तौर पर काट दिया।
उन्होंने बताया कि महिला की चीख-पुकार सुनकर कुछ पड़ोसी उसके घर पहुंचे लेकिन आरोपी भाग निकला। अधिकारी ने बताया कि महिला को केईएम अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, वह अभी तक बेहोश है।
अधिकारी ने बताया कि आरोपी को पकड़ने के लिए पुलिस टीम गठित की गई और मंगलवार रात उसे परशुराम नगर से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।
पुलिस ने कहा कि आरोपी के खिलाफ धारा 307 (हत्या का प्रयास) सहित भारतीय दंड संहिता (आईपीसी) की संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया।

Mumbai, @MaruSangram. A man allegedly slit the throat of a 25-year-old woman with a blade in Mumbai. Giving this information on Wednesday, a police officer said that the woman had rejected the man’s marriage proposal and insulted him. He said that the incident took place at the woman’s house in Kalachowki area on Tuesday afternoon.
The officer said that the woman was admitted to the hospital and her condition is critical. He told that the 44-year-old accused is a driver by profession and he lives in Parshuram Nagar of Kalachowki area. The officer said that the accused has been arrested.
The police officer said that the woman lives in this locality with her two brothers. During the investigation, the police came to know that the accused was in a love affair with the woman for a year. He wanted to marry the woman, but she was rejecting his proposal.
Police said that there was some argument between the two on Monday night and the woman insulted him in front of some people.
The officer said that on Tuesday afternoon, the accused entered the woman’s house and allegedly slit her throat with a blade.
He told that after hearing the screams of the woman, some neighbors reached her house but the accused escaped. The officer said that the woman was admitted to KEM Hospital, she is still unconscious.
The officer said that a police team was formed to nab the accused and he was arrested from Parshuram Nagar on Tuesday night.
Police said a case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including section 307 (attempt to murder).
