केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री ने दिलाई शपथ
बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब की नई कार्याकारिणी का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह गुरूवार को रानी बाजार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र स्थित जिला उद्योग संघ सभागार में आयोजित हुआ।
कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में केन्द्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल रहे। उन्होंने बीकानेर की पत्रकारिता की परम्परा को समृद्ध बताया और कहा कि युवा पत्रकार इन आदर्शों का अनुसरण करें।
उन्होंने कहा कि बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब के नए भवन के निर्माण के लिए सांसद निधि से 25 लाख रुपए स्वीकृत करने की घोषणा की तथा बीकानेर के पत्रकारों को शीघ्र ही नए संसद भवन का भ्रमण करवाया जाएगा।
पूर्व मंत्री वीरेन्द्र बेनीवाल ने कहा कि मीडिया को लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तम्भ माना जाता है। पत्रकारों के कन्धों पर बड़ी जिम्मेदारी है, वे इसे समझते हुए अपनी कलम चलाएं।
महापौर सुशीला कंवर राजपुरोहित ने कहा कि प्रेस क्लब की नई कार्यकारिणी, युवा पत्रकारों में पत्रकारिता के मूल्य बनाए रखने में सहयोग करेगी।
नागौर जिले के जिला उपभोक्ता मंच के पूर्णकालिक अध्यक्ष नरसिंह दास व्यास ने कहा कि देश की आजादी के संग्राम में पत्रकारों की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण रही है। युवा पत्रकार इससे सीखें।
सहायक निदेशक (जनसंपर्क) हरि शंकर आचार्य ने कहा कि पत्रकार निष्पक्ष पत्रकारिता के मूल्यों को बनाए रखने के साथ सरकार की योजनाओं की जानकारी आमजन तक पहुंचाने को प्राथमिकता दें।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता वरिष्ठ पत्रकार संतोष जैन ने की।
बीकानेर पंचायत समिति के प्रधान लालचंद आसोपा एवं बीकानेर जिला उद्योग संघ के अध्यक्ष डी.पी. पच्चीसिया ने भी विचार व्यक्त किए।
इससे पहले कानून मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने नवनिर्वाचित अध्यक्ष भवानी शंकर जोेशी एवं महासचिव खुशाल सिंह मेड़तिया सहित पूरी कार्यकारिणी को शपथ दिलाई।
प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष भवानी शंकर जोशी ने कहा कि वे पत्रकारों के हितों के लिए प्रयासरत रहेंगे तथा अपनी प्राथमिकताओं के बारे में बताया। इससे पहले प्रेस क्लब के पूर्व अध्यक्ष अनुराग हर्ष, जयनारायण बिस्सा, श्याम मारू सहित विभिन्न सहयोगियों का सम्मान किया गया। स्वागत उद्बोधन श्याम मारू ने दिया तथा महासचिव खुशाल सिंह ने आभार व्यक्त किया।
कार्यक्रम का संचालन हरीश बी. शर्मा ने किया। कार्यक्रम में बॉलीवुड गायक अली गनी ने गीतों की प्रस्तुति दी।

Union Law Minister administered the oath
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. The swearing-in ceremony of the new executive committee of Bikaner Press Club was held on Thursday at the District Industries Association auditorium located in Rani Bazar industrial area.
Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal was the chief guest in the programme. He described Bikaner’s tradition of journalism as rich and said that young journalists should follow these ideals.
He said that for the construction of the new building of Bikaner Press Club, Rs 25 lakh has been announced to be sanctioned from the MP Fund and the journalists of Bikaner will be taken on a tour of the new Parliament House soon.
Former Minister Virendra Beniwal said that media is considered as the fourth pillar of democracy. There is a big responsibility on the shoulders of journalists, they should understand this and use their pen.
Mayor Sushila Kanwar Rajpurohit said that the new executive committee of the Press Club will help young journalists to maintain the values of journalism.
Narsingh Das Vyas, full-time president of District Consumer Forum of Nagaur district, said that the role of journalists has been important in the freedom struggle of the country. Young journalists should learn from this.
Assistant Director (Public Relations) Hari Shankar Acharya said that along with maintaining the values of unbiased journalism, journalists should give priority to conveying information about the schemes of the government to the general public.
The program was presided over by senior journalist Santosh Jain.
President of Bikaner Panchayat Samiti Lalchand Asopa and President of Bikaner District Industries Association D.P. Pachisia also expressed his views.
Earlier, Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal administered oath to the newly elected President Bhavani Shankar Joshi and the entire executive including General Secretary Khushal Singh Medatiya.
