डूंगर कॉलेज का होगा कायाकल्प: आगामी यूजीसी नैक निरीक्षण हेतु तैयारियां शुरू….

बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। सम्भाग के सबसे बड़े राजकीय डूंगर महाविद्यालय में विकास कार्य चरम पर हो रहे हैं।

प्राचार्य डॉ. नरेन्द्र नाथ ने बताया कि प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा बजट में घोषित 15 करोड़ की लागत से बनने वाले ऑडिटोरियम के निर्माण हेतु 10 करोड़ की स्वीकृति जारी हो चुकी है।

उन्होनें बताया कि यह ऑडिटोरियम कॉलेज के पूर्वी द्वार के समीप राजस्थान कृषि विपणन बोर्ड के माध्यम से बनेगा। ऑडिटोरियम में लगभग 1500 विद्यार्थियों के बैठने की व्यवस्था होगी।

डॉ. नाथ ने बताया कि हाल ही में राज्य सरकार द्वारा 30 कक्षा कक्षों के निर्माण हेतु भी वित्तीय स्वीकृति जारी की चुकी है जिनका निर्माण सार्वजनिक निर्माण विभाग द्वारा किया जावेगा। उन्होनें बताया कि ये कक्षा कक्षा कॉलेज के पश्चिमी ओर बनेगें जिससे विद्यार्थियों के शिक्षण कार्य हेतु माकूल व्यवस्था उपलब्ध हो सकेगी। दोनों ही कार्यों की स्वीकृति जारी होने पर कॉलेज प्रशासन ने राज्य सरकार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया है।

उल्लेखनीय है कि उक्त कार्य पूर्ण होने पर आगामी यूजीसी नैक निरीक्षण के लिये आवश्यक संसाधन उपलब्ध हो सकेगें जिससे महाविद्यालय को उच्च ग्रेड प्राप्त करने मे सहायता मिलेगी।

इसके अतिरिक्त कॉलेज परिसर में कन्या छात्रावास के ठीक समीप समाज कल्याण विभाग की ओर से दो करोड़ अस्सी लाख रूपये की लागत से आर्थिक पिछड़ा वर्ग की छात्राओं के लिये कन्या छात्रावास का निर्माण किया जा रहा है जिससे लगभग 50 छात्राओं को छात्रावास की सुविधा उपलब्ध हो सकेगी।

डूंगर कॉलेज प्रदेश का एकमात्र ऐसी महाविद्यालय है जिसे यूजीसी नैक निरीक्षण में लगातार तीन बार ‘ए‘ ग्रेड प्राप्त हुआ है एवं कॉलेज लगातार चौथी बार नैक निरीक्षण की तैयारी में जुट चुका है जिससे कि और भी उच्च ग्रेड प्राप्त किया जा सके।

प्राचार्य डॉ. नाथ ने विभिन्न समितियों की बैठक लेते हुए नैक निरीक्षण हेतु तमाम शैक्षणिक एवं अन्य गतिविधियों की सूचनाएं संबंधित समिति को उपलब्ध करवाने के निर्देश प्रदान किये है। नैक निरीक्षण से मिलने वाले ग्रेड से यूजीसी द्वारा स्वीकृत बजट भी संबंधित होता है।

साथ ही कॉलेज के चार विद्यार्थियों को विदेश मे पढ़ने हेतु राजीव गाँधी स्कालरशिप भी स्वीकृत हो चुकी है
पिछले कुछ वर्षों में कॉलेज परिसर में हजारों की तादाद में वृक्षारोपण भी किया गया है जिन्हें पानी देने के लिये ड्रिप सिस्टम की माकूल व्यवस्था कॉलेज प्रशासन द्वारा की गयी है। प्राचार्य डॉ. नरेन्द्र नाथ के अनुसार सभी वृक्षों का सार सम्भाल की समुचित व्यवस्था हेतु कॉलेज के तीनों प्रवेश द्वार पर गार्ड की व्यवस्था की गयी है जिससे कि मवेशियों के प्रवेश को रोका जा सके।

उन्होनें बताया कि अनुकूल मौसम आने पर और भी वृक्षारोपण कर राज्य सरकार के हरियालो राजस्थान के सपने को साकार करने में मदद मिलेगी।

Dungar College will be rejuvenated: Preparations begin for the upcoming UGC NAAC inspection….

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Development works are going on at its peak in the biggest Government Dungar College of the division.

Principal Dr. Narendra Nath told that approval of Rs.10 crore has been issued for the construction of the auditorium to be built at a cost of Rs.15 crore as announced by the Chief Minister of the state in the budget.

He told that this auditorium will be built near the eastern gate of the college through the Rajasthan Agricultural Marketing Board. There will be seating arrangement for about 1500 students in the auditorium.

Dr. Nath told that recently the state government has also issued financial approval for the construction of 30 class rooms, which will be constructed by the Public Works Department. He said that these classrooms would be built on the western side of the college, so that proper arrangements would be made available for the teaching work of the students. The college administration has expressed gratitude to the state government for issuing approval for both the works.

It is worth mentioning that on completion of the said work, necessary resources will be available for the upcoming UGC NAAC inspection, which will help the college to get higher grades.

Apart from this, a girls’ hostel is being constructed for the girls belonging to economically backward classes by the Social Welfare Department just near the girls’ hostel in the college premises at a cost of Rs. .

Dungar College is the only college in the state which has received ‘A’ grade in UGC NAAC inspection for three consecutive times and the college is preparing for NAAC inspection for the fourth consecutive time so that even higher grade can be obtained.

Principal Dr. Nath has given instructions to make available the information of all academic and other activities to the concerned committee for NAAC inspection while taking the meeting of various committees. The budget approved by UGC is also related to the grade obtained from NAAC inspection.

Along with this, Rajiv Gandhi scholarship has also been approved for four students of the college to study abroad.
In the last few years, thousands of trees have been planted in the college campus, for which proper arrangement of drip system has been made by the college administration to give water. According to Principal Dr. Narendra Nath, guards have been arranged at all the three entrances of the college for proper maintenance of all the trees so that the entry of cattle can be stopped.

He told that planting more trees when the weather becomes favorable will help in realizing the dream of Hariyalo Rajasthan of the state government.
