“पानी ठहरेगा जहां मच्छर पनपेंगे वहां”: विश्व मलेरिया दिवस पर मलेरिया केस शून्य तक लाने का आह्वान….

बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। विश्व मलेरिया दिवस पर चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा मलेरिया रोकथाम के नवीन आयाम स्थापित करने का आह्वान हुआ। मुख्य कार्यक्रम स्वास्थ्य भवन सभागार में आयोजित हुआ जिसमें विभिन्न नर्सिंग कॉलेज के इंटर्न विद्यार्थियों को मलेरिया के विरुद्ध आमुखीकृत किया गया।

डिप्टी सीएमएचओ स्वास्थ्य डॉ लोकेश गुप्ता ने “पानी ठहरेगा जहां मच्छर पनपेंगे वहां” के मूल मंत्र को याद रखते हुए खुले में पानी जमा ना होने देने को प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य बताया।

उन्होंने मलेरिया दिवस को विजय दिवस के रूप में मनाने और इस जीत को बरकरार रखने का आह्वान किया। एपिडेमियोलॉजिस्ट नीलम प्रताप सिंह राठौड़ ने मलेरिया फैलाने वाले मादा एनाफिलीज मच्छर के जीवन चक्र तथा उसे पनपने से रोकने हेतु किए जाने वाले एंटी लारवा गतिविधियों की जानकारी दी।

जिला आईईसी समन्वयक मालकोश आचार्य ने एंटी लारवा गतिविधियों को अपनी संस्कृति का हिस्सा बनाने हेतु वास्तविक व्यवहार परिवर्तन की बात कही। इस अवसर पर आईडीएसपी डाटा मैनेजर प्रदीप चौहान, लेखाकार पुनीत रंगा, दिनेश श्रीमाली, अजय भाटी, दाऊ लाल ओझा सहित विभागीय कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

इस अवसर पर विशेष रूप से तैयार प्रचार रथ को हरी झंडी दिखाई गई जो शहरी क्षेत्र में मलेरिया को समाप्त करने के लिए एंटी लारवा गतिविधियां अपनाने का संदेश देगा।

प्रचार रथ को उपनिदेशक डॉ. राहुल हर्ष, डिप्टी सीएमएचओ डॉ. लोकेश गुप्ता, डॉ. योगेंद्र तनेजा, आरसीएचओ डॉ. राजेश गुप्ता, नीलम प्रताप सिंह आदि ने हरी झंडी दिखाई।

इसके अलावा जिले की अधिकांश पीएचसी-सीएचसी, सब सेंटर व शहरी प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पर रक्त पट्टिका संचय, गंबूजिया मछली का प्रदर्शन, घर घर पानी के स्रोत में टेमीफोश डालने की कार्यवाही  संपादित की गई।

सीएमएचओ डॉ. मोहम्मद अबरार पवार ने बताया कि स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अथक प्रयासों के चलते गत 2-3 साल से मलेरिया के केस शून्य की ओर अग्रसर है।

लेकिन इसका अर्थ यह नहीं है कि इसे लेकर कोई लापरवाही बरती जाए। उन्होंने आमजन को समस्त एंटी लारवा गतिविधियां अपनाने हेतु प्रेरित करने को कहा।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. On World Malaria Day, a call was given by the Medical and Health Department to establish a new dimension of malaria prevention. The main program was organized at the Swasthya Bhawan auditorium in which intern students of various nursing colleges were oriented against malaria.

Deputy CMHO Health Dr. Lokesh Gupta, remembering the basic mantra of “Pani thehega where mosquitoes will flourish”, told the duty of every citizen not to allow water to accumulate in the open.

He called for observing Malaria Day as Vijay Diwas and for maintaining this victory. Epidemiologist Neelam Pratap Singh Rathod gave information about the life cycle of malaria-causing female Anopheles mosquito and anti-larval activities to prevent it from growing.

District IEC Coordinator Malkosh Acharya talked about real behavior change to make anti-larvae activities a part of their culture. IDSP Data Manager Pradeep Chauhan, Accountant Puneet Ranga, Dinesh Shrimali, Ajay Bhati, Dau Lal Ojha and departmental employees were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, a specially prepared publicity chariot was flagged off which would give the message of anti-larval activities to eliminate malaria in urban areas.

The campaign chariot was flagged off by Deputy Director Dr. Rahul Harsh, Deputy CMHO Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Dr. Yogendra Taneja, RCHO Dr. Rajesh Gupta, Neelam Pratap Singh etc.

Apart from this, most of the PHC-CHC, sub-centers and urban primary health centers in the district were organized for blood platelet accumulation, display of Gambujia fish, pouring temifosh in every house water source.

CMHO Dr. Mohammad Abrar Pawar said that due to the untiring efforts of the health department, malaria cases are moving towards zero since last 2-3 years.

But this does not mean that there should be any carelessness about it. He asked to motivate the general public to adopt all anti-larvae activities.
