पंजाब, @MaruSangram। खालिस्तान समर्थक अमृतपाल सिंह ने सरेंडर कर दिया है। अमृतपाल ने पंजाब की मोगा पुलिस के सामने सरेंडर किया है।

अमृतपाल बीते 36 दिनों से फरार चल रहा था। उसने सोशल मीडिया के जरिए कई बार वीडियो जारी किए। कहा जा रहा था कि वो वैशाखी के मौके पर सरेंडर करेगा, लेकिन उसने सरेंडर नहीं किया।

पंजाब पुलिस ने देशभर में नेपाल बॉर्डर तक ऑपरेशन चलाए। पंजाब पुलिस के कर्मचारियों की छुट्टियां रद्द कर दी गई।

अमृतपाल सबसे पहले 23 फरवरी को चर्चा में आया था। उसने अजनाला में अपने करीबी को छुड़ाने के लिए हजारों समर्थकों के साथ थाने पर हमला बोल दिया था‌।

इस हमले में 6 पुलिसकर्मी जख्मी हुए थे। इसके बाद उसने कई टीवी चैनलों में दिए इंटरव्यू में अलग खालिस्तान की मांग की थी। इतना ही नहीं अमृतपाल ने देश के गृह मंत्री अमित शाह को भी धमकी दी थी।

सुरक्षा एजेंसियों को इनपुट मिले थे कि इतना ही नहीं वह प्राइवेट आर्मी आनंदपुर खालसा फोर्स (AKF) बना रहा था।

Amritpal was absconding for the last 36 days. He released videos several times through social media. It was being said that he would surrender on the occasion of Baisakhi, but he did not surrender.

The Punjab Police carried out operations across the country till the Nepal border. The leaves of the employees of the Punjab Police were cancelled.

Amritpal first came into the limelight on 23 February. He had attacked the police station in Ajnala with thousands of his supporters to free his close friend.

6 policemen were injured in this attack. After this, he had demanded a separate Khalistan in the interview given in many TV channels. Not only this, Amritpal had also threatened the country’s Home Minister Amit Shah.

Security agencies had received inputs that not only this, he was forming a private army, Anandpur Khalsa Force (AKF).
