बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। नगरीय निकाय चुनाव को लेकर वार्ड नंबर 28 में चुनावी सरगर्मियां तेज हो गई हैं। निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी मंजू देवी ने घर-घर जनसंपर्क शुरू करते हुए क्षेत्र की बदहाल सड़कों, गलियों और नालियों को प्रमुख चुनावी मुद्दा बनाया है।
मंजू देवी ने कहा कि वह एक सामान्य गृहिणी हैं, लेकिन वार्ड की समस्याओं को देखते हुए उन्होंने स्वयं चुनाव मैदान में उतरने का निर्णय लिया। उनका कहना है कि जनता उन्हें मौका देती है तो वह वार्ड के विकास और जनसेवा को प्राथमिकता देंगी।
बच्चों की निःशुल्क पढ़ाई से लेकर CCTV तक का वादा
मंजू देवी ने वार्ड के बच्चों और बच्चियों के लिए निःशुल्क पढ़ाई की व्यवस्था करने, क्षेत्र में CCTV कैमरे लगवाने, बुजुर्गों के लिए भोजन कैंटीन शुरू करने तथा रात के समय सुरक्षा के लिए चौकीदार की व्यवस्था करने की बात कही।
उन्होंने बताया कि वह टिफिन से जुड़ा अपना YouTube चैनल ‘मंजूज मैजिक किचन’ भी चलाती हैं। उनका कहना है कि इस अनुभव का उपयोग जरूरतमंद बुजुर्गों की सेवा के लिए किया जा सकता है।
बोर्ड गठन पर जनता की राय होगी सर्वोपरि
चुनाव के बाद बोर्ड गठन की स्थिति को लेकर मंजू देवी ने कहा कि वह किसी पार्टी विशेष के साथ जाने के बजाय जनता की राय को प्राथमिकता देंगी।
उन्होंने कहा कि जिस पक्ष को समर्थन देने का फैसला होगा, उससे वार्ड के विकास कार्यों को लेकर लिखित आश्वासन लेने के बाद ही निर्णय लिया जाएगा।
मंजू देवी ने कहा कि उनका उद्देश्य किसी पार्टी के “रिमोट कंट्रोल” से चलना नहीं, बल्कि वार्ड की जनता के बीच रहकर अपने निर्णय लेना है।
स्थानीय बनाम पैराशूट उम्मीदवार का मुद्दा उठाया
मतदाताओं से अपील करते हुए मंजू देवी ने कहा कि लोग अपनी अंतरात्मा की आवाज सुनकर मतदान करें और वार्ड में रहने वाले उम्मीदवार को प्राथमिकता दें।
उन्होंने कहा कि मतदाताओं को ऐसे उम्मीदवारों से भी सावधान रहना चाहिए, जिनके बारे में उन्हें लगता है कि चुनाव जीतने के बाद कोई अन्य व्यक्ति पर्दे के पीछे से निर्णय ले सकता है। उन्होंने स्थानीय उम्मीदवार और वार्ड की समस्याओं से सीधे जुड़े व्यक्ति को मतदान करने की अपील की।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Election activity in Ward 28 has intensified in the run-up to the municipal elections. Independent candidate Manju Devi has launched a door-to-door campaign, making the area’s dilapidated roads, streets, and drains a key election issue.
Manju Devi stated that she is a simple housewife, but seeing the problems in the ward, she decided to contest. She says that if the public gives her the opportunity, she will prioritize the ward’s development and public service.
Promises range from free education for children to CCTV cameras
Manju Devi spoke about providing free education for boys and girls in the ward, installing CCTV cameras in the area, starting a food canteen for the elderly, and arranging for nighttime security.
She explained that she also runs her own YouTube channel, “Manju’s Magic Kitchen,” dedicated to tiffin services. She said this experience can be used to serve the elderly in need.
Public Opinion Will Be Paramount in Board Formation
Regarding the status of the board formation after the elections, Manju Devi said that she would prioritize public opinion over aligning with any particular party.
She stated that the decision to support the party will be made only after receiving written assurances from them regarding the ward’s development work.
Manju Devi stated that her aim is not to operate under the “remote control” of any party, but to make her own decisions by staying among the people of the ward.
Raising the issue of local versus parachute candidates, Manju Devi urged voters to vote according to their conscience and prioritize candidates who live in the ward.
She also said voters should be wary of candidates who, after winning the election, might be able to make decisions from behind the scenes. She urged voters to vote for local candidates and those directly connected to the ward’s problems.
