बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। निर्जला एकादशी के पावन अवसर पर जयपुर रोड स्थित खाटू श्याम बाबा मंदिर में श्रद्धा, भक्ति और आस्था का अद्भुत संगम देखने को मिला। सुबह से ही मंदिर परिसर में श्रद्धालुओं की लंबी कतारें बाबा के दर्शन के लिए लगनी शुरू हो गईं। दिनभर भक्तों का तांता लगा रहा और मंदिर परिसर बाबा के जयकारों तथा भजनों की मधुर स्वर लहरियों से भक्तिमय बना रहा।

इस अवसर पर भक्तों द्वारा बाबा के दरबार में “सज मत श्याम नजर लग जाएगी, बरसाने की गुजरी तेरे पर मर जाएगी” जैसे मनमोहक भजनों की प्रस्तुति दी गई, जिससे पूरा दरबार भक्ति रस में डूब गया।

भजनों पर श्रद्धालु झूमते नजर आए और बाबा की भक्ति में लीन होकर आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।

निर्जला एकादशी को वर्षभर में आने वाली 24 एकादशियों में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है। धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार इस दिन उपवास रखने और भगवान की आराधना करने से सभी 24 एकादशियों के व्रत का पुण्य फल प्राप्त होता है। इसी आस्था के साथ बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालुओं ने निर्जला व्रत रखा और बाबा के चरणों में पूजा सामग्री, मटकी, पंखा तथा अन्य धार्मिक वस्तुएं अर्पित कीं।

मंदिर को इस विशेष अवसर पर कमल के फूलों से भव्य रूप से सजाया गया। बाबा का विशेष श्रृंगार चेतन शर्मा और किशन जोशी द्वारा कमल पुष्पों से किया गया, जिसने श्रद्धालुओं का मन मोह लिया।

मंदिर परिसर को रंग-बिरंगे फूलों और आकर्षक सजावट से सजाया गया तथा साफ-सफाई और व्यवस्थाओं का विशेष ध्यान रखा गया।

श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को ध्यान में रखते हुए मंदिर ट्रस्ट द्वारा विशेष व्यवस्थाएं की गईं। गर्मी से राहत देने के लिए लगभग 20 क्विंटल से अधिक दूध से तैयार पाइनएप्पल, बनाना और गुलाब फ्लेवर के शेक श्रद्धालुओं में प्रसाद स्वरूप वितरित किए गए। साथ ही मंदिर परिसर में छबील की विशेष व्यवस्था भी की गई, जिसमें कुलदीप चौधरी का विशेष सहयोग रहा। इसके अलावा मंदिर में आए प्रसाद स्वरूप फलों का भी श्रद्धालुओं में वितरण किया गया, जिससे भक्तों ने प्रसाद ग्रहण कर पुण्य लाभ प्राप्त किया।

मंदिर ट्रस्ट के सभी पदाधिकारी एवं सेवादार सुबह से ही सेवा कार्यों में जुटे रहे और श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिए व्यवस्थाओं को संभालते नजर आए।

मंदिर ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष के.के. शर्मा ने बताया कि निर्जला एकादशी का पर्व हर वर्ष अत्यंत श्रद्धा और उत्साह के साथ मनाया जाता है। इस बार भी बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालुओं ने बाबा के दर्शन कर पुण्य लाभ अर्जित किया। उन्होंने सभी भक्तों और सहयोगियों का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि मंदिर परिवार सदैव श्रद्धालुओं की सेवा के लिए तत्पर रहेगा।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. On the auspicious occasion of Nirjala Ekadashi, a magnificent confluence of reverence, devotion, and faith was witnessed at the Khatu Shyam Baba temple located on Jaipur Road. From early morning, long queues of devotees began forming within the temple premises to catch a glimpse of Baba. A steady stream of devotees continued throughout the day, and the temple complex remained immersed in devotion, echoing with chants hailing Baba and the melodious strains of bhajans (devotional songs).

On this occasion, devotees presented enchanting bhajans such as “Don’t deck yourself out, Shyam, or the evil eye might strike; the Gujari of Barsana would swoon over you,” immersing the entire court in the spirit of devotion.

Devotees were seen swaying to the music, completely absorbed in devotion to Baba as they sought His blessings.

Nirjala Ekadashi is considered the most significant of the twenty-four Ekadashis that occur throughout the year. According to religious belief, fasting and worshipping the Lord on this day yields the spiritual merit equivalent to observing the fasts of all twenty-four Ekadashis. Driven by this faith, a large number of devotees observed the Nirjala fast (fasting without water) and offered worship materials—such as earthen pots, hand fans, and other religious items—at Baba’s feet.

For this special occasion, the temple was grandly decorated with lotus flowers. Baba was adorned in a special Shringar (attire and ornamentation) crafted from lotus blossoms by Chetan Sharma and Kishan Joshi, a sight that captivated the hearts of the devotees.

The temple premises were embellished with colorful flowers and attractive decorations, while special attention was paid to cleanliness and logistical arrangements.

The temple trust made special arrangements to ensure the convenience of the devotees. To provide relief from the heat, pineapple, banana, and rose-flavored shakes—prepared using over 20 quintals of milk—were distributed to devotees as Prasad. A special Chabeel (a stall serving cold, sweetened water or drinks) was also set up within the temple premises, with special assistance provided by Kuldeep Chaudhary. Additionally, fruits offered at the temple were distributed as Prasad, allowing devotees to partake in the offering and earn spiritual merit.

All office-bearers and volunteers of the temple trust were engaged in service activities from the early morning hours, managing arrangements to ensure the convenience of the devotees.

K.K. Sharma, President of the temple trust, stated that the festival of Nirjala Ekadashi is celebrated every year with immense devotion and enthusiasm. This year, too, a large number of devotees visited to seek blessings and earn spiritual merit. Expressing gratitude to all devotees and associates, he affirmed that the temple family would always remain dedicated to serving the devotees.
