बीकानेर, @MaruSangramnews। के.डी. अस्पताल अहमदाबाद एवं बीकानेर जिला उद्योग संघ के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में शनिवार को निःशुल्क मिर्गी उपचार शिविर आयोजित हुआ।
जिला उद्योग संघ परिसर में आयोजित शिविर का उद्धघाटन जिला कलक्टर नम्रता वृष्णि, जिला उद्योग एवं वाणिज्य केंद्र महाप्रबंधक मंजू नैन गोदारा एवं श्रीमती सीएम मूंधड़ा मेमोरियल चेरिटेबल ट्रस्ट के ट्रस्टी देवकिशन मूंधड़ा ने किया।
जिला कलक्टर वृष्णि ने कहा कि नर सेवा नारायण सेवा की भावना से आयोजित यह शिविर मिर्गी रोगियों के लिए लाभदायक सिद्ध होगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जिला उद्योग संघ द्वारा किए जा रहे सामाजिक सरोकार के कार्य सराहनीय हैं। उन्होंने मिर्गी रोग उपचार की प्रक्रिया के बारे में जाना।
के.डी. हॉस्पिटल के डीएम न्यूरोलॉजी एवं मिर्गी रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉ. अभिषेक गोहेल ने मिर्गी रोगियों की रोग हिस्ट्री देखकर आवयक परामर्श दिया।
शिविर में ऐसे रोगी शामिल हुए, जिन्हें बार-बार दौरे पड़ते हों। होश खो देना, बार-बार जमीन पर गिरना, मांसपेशियों में मरोड़ या एंठन, भ्रमित होना, बिना उद्देश्य के हिलना, हाथ पाँव में झुनझुनी होना, बिना कारण बोलते रहना, चिल्लाना या जिनको अचानक चेतना खोने की समस्या हो, जैसे लक्षणों के मरीजों की भागीदारी रही।
जरूरतमंदों के किए कार्यरत के. डी. फाउंडेशन के दिनेश भाई ने बताया कि यह शिविर मिर्गी रोग से पीड़ित मरीजों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण अवसर था। यदि मरीजों को डॉ. गोहेल द्वारा अहमदाबाद में सर्जरी करवाने का परामर्श दिया जाएगा तो के.डी. फाऊंडेशन द्वारा जरूरतमंद मिर्गी रोगियों के सहयोग को सेवा देंगे।
शिविर में श्यामसुन्दर सोनी, अनंतवीर जैन, वीरेंद्र किराडू, एडवोकेट राजेश लदरेचा, के. के. मेहता, उमाशंकर आचार्य, भंवरलाल चांडक, डॉ. ध्रुवित पटेल, केतन शाह, जितेन्द्र चावड़ा, दिलीप वागेला, भवानी शंकर, हीरालाल, किशन माली, हर्षवर्द्धन रांकावत ने सहयोग दिया।

Inaugurated by District Collector
Bikaner, @MaruSangramnews. A free epilepsy treatment camp was organized on Saturday under the joint aegis of K.D. Hospital Ahmedabad and Bikaner District Industries Association.
The camp organized in the District Industries Association premises was inaugurated by District Collector Namrata Vrishni, District Industries and Commerce Center General Manager Manju Nain Godara and Trustee of Mrs. CM Mundhra Memorial Charitable Trust Devkishan Mundhra.
District Collector Vrishni said that this camp organized in the spirit of ‘Nar Seva Narayan Seva’ will prove beneficial for epilepsy patients. He said that the social concern work being done by the District Industries Association is commendable. He learned about the process of epilepsy treatment.
DM Neurology and Epilepsy Specialist of K.D. Hospital Dr. Abhishek Gohel gave necessary advice after seeing the disease history of epilepsy patients.
Patients who have frequent seizures participated in the camp. Patients with symptoms like losing consciousness, falling on the ground repeatedly, muscle cramps or spasms, confusion, moving without any purpose, tingling in hands and feet, talking without any reason, shouting or those who have the problem of suddenly losing consciousness, participated.
Dinesh Bhai of K.D. Foundation, working for the needy, said that this camp was an important opportunity for patients suffering from epilepsy. If the patients are advised by Dr. Gohel to undergo surgery in Ahmedabad, then K.D. Foundation will provide services to help needy epilepsy patients.
