बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय के सेंटर फॉर गांधीयन स्टडीज, पीस एंड नॉन-वायलेंस के तत्वावधान में आज राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गांधी की जयंती के अवसर पर एक भव्य कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता विश्वविद्यालय कुलगुरु प्रोफेसर नरसी राम बिश्नोई ने की।
मीडिया प्रभारी डॉ.उमेश शर्मा ने बताया कि कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विश्वविद्यालय परिसर में स्थित गांधी पार्क में हुआ, जहां उपस्थित सभी अतिथियों, शिक्षकों और छात्र-छात्राओं ने महात्मा गांधी की प्रतिमा एवं लाल बहादुर शास्त्री के चित्र पर श्रद्धापूर्वक पुष्पांजलि अर्पित किए।
अपने अध्यक्षीय उद्बोधन में कुलगुरु प्रोफेसर नरसी राम बिश्नोई ने महात्मा गांधी के जीवन मूल्यों और उनके ‘सर्वोदय’ के सिद्धांत को भारत के विकास के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताया।
प्रो. बिश्नोई ने कहा कि गांधीजी के सत्य, अहिंसा और स्वावलंबन के सिद्धांतों पर चलकर ही हम एक सशक्त, समृद्ध और समावेशी भारत का निर्माण कर सकते हैं।
पुष्पांजलि के पश्चात सांस्कृतिक एवं वैचारिक सत्र का आयोजन हुआ। इसमें भजन गायक चैतन्य सहल ने गांधीजी के प्रिय भजनों की सुमधुर प्रस्तुतियां देकर पूरे वातावरण को भक्तिमय और वैचारिक ऊर्जा से भर दिया। इसके बाद विश्वविद्यालय की छात्रा तान्या अग्रवाल ने ‘वर्तमान समय में गांधी की प्रासंगिकता’ विषय पर अपने सारगर्भित विचार रखे और युवाओं के जीवन में गांधीवादी सिद्धांतों की उपयोगिता को रेखांकित किया।
इससे पूर्व, सेंटर फॉर गांधीयन स्टडीज की निदेशक डॉ. संतोष कंवर शेखावत ने कार्यक्रम में पधारे सभी अतिथियों का भावभीना स्वागत किया। डॉ. शेखावत ने कार्यक्रम का संचालन भी किया।
कार्यक्रम के समापन पर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलसचिव यशपाल आहूजा ने सभी आगंतुकों, शिक्षकों, कर्मचारियों और विद्यार्थियों का धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।
इस गौरवपूर्ण अवसर पर प्रोफेसर अनिल छंगाणी, प्रोफेसर राजाराम चोयल, डॉ. बिट्ठल बिस्सा सहित विश्वविद्यालय के समस्त शिक्षक, अधिकारी, कर्मचारी और बड़ी संख्या में छात्र-छात्राएं उपस्थित रहे।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. A grand event was organized today under the aegis of the Center for Gandhian Studies, Peace and Non-Violence at Maharaja Ganga Singh University to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The event was presided over by University Vice Chancellor Professor Narsiram Bishnoi.
Media in-charge Dr. Umesh Sharma informed that the event commenced at Gandhi Park located on the university campus, where all the guests, teachers, and students present paid floral tributes to the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and the portrait of Lal Bahadur Shastri.
In his presidential address, Vice Chancellor Professor Narsiram Bishnoi described Mahatma Gandhi’s life values and his principle of “Sarvodaya” as crucial for India’s development.
Prof. Bishnoi stated that only by following Gandhiji’s principles of truth, non-violence, and self-reliance can we build a strong, prosperous, and inclusive India.
Following the floral tribute, a cultural and ideological session was held. Bhajan singer Chaitanya Sahal filled the atmosphere with devotional and ideological energy with his melodious rendition of Gandhiji’s favorite hymns. Following this, University student Tanya Agarwal shared insightful thoughts on the topic “Gandhi’s Relevance in the Present Times” and highlighted the usefulness of Gandhian principles in the lives of youth.
Earlier, Dr. Santosh Kanwar Shekhawat, Director of the Center for Gandhian Studies, extended a warm welcome to all the guests. Dr. Shekhawat also conducted the program.
At the conclusion of the program, the University Registrar, Yashpal Ahuja, thanked all the visitors, faculty, staff, and students.
On this prestigious occasion, Professor Anil Changani, Professor Rajaram Choyal, Dr. Bitthal Bissa, along with all the faculty, officers, staff, and a large number of students of the University were present.
