जयपुर, @MaruSangram। महाशिवरात्रि वाले दिन राजस्थान के जैसलमेर जिले में बड़ा हादसा होते-होते टल गया। मंगलवार सुबह धऊवा गांव के पास बच्चों को स्कूल लेकर जा रही एक चलती बस में अचानक भीषण आग लग गई. बस में करीब दो दर्जन बच्चे सवार थे। इंजन से धुआं उठता देख ड्राइवर ने तत्काल बस रोक दी और सभी बच्चों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया। इसके कुछ ही देर बाद आग ने पूरी बस को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया।
किस स्कूल की बस थी:
जानकारी के अनुसार, स्कूल बस पिथला गांव से बच्चों को लेकर डाबला रोड स्थित एसएम पब्लिक स्कूल जा रही थी।
जैसलमेर शहर से करीब 12 किलोमीटर दूर धऊवा गांव के पास पहुंचते ही बस के अगले हिस्से यानी इंजन से अचानक धुआं उठने लगा। ड्राइवर ने सूझबूझ दिखाते हुए तुरंत बस को सड़क पर ही रोका और बच्चों को बाहर निकालना शुरू कर दिया।
बच्चों को बस से बाहर निकालकर दूर खड़ा किया ही होगा कि आग तेजी से भड़क गई और देखते ही देखते बस का अधिकांश हिस्सा आग की चपेट में आ गया। आग के कारण बस में रखे बच्चों के बैग और अन्य सामान भी जल गए।
3 फायर ब्रिगेड ने बुझाई आग:
बस में आग लगने की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंचे और फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचना दी। नगर परिषद की दमकल की तीन गाड़ियां मौके पर पहुंचीं। दमकलकर्मियों ने कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया, हालांकि, आग बुझने तक बस का अधिकांश हिस्सा जलकर खाक हो चुका था।
प्रारंभिक जानकारी के अनुसार, आग बस की वायरिंग में शॉर्ट सर्किट के कारण लगने की आशंका जताई जा रही है, हालांकि, आग लगने के वास्तविक कारणों की आधिकारिक पुष्टि अभी नहीं हुई है।
घटना के बाद मौके पर ग्रामीणों की भीड़ जमा हो गई और कुछ देर तक अफरा-तफरी का माहौल रहा।
गनीमत रही कि ड्राइवर की सूझबूझ और समय पर लिए गए फैसले से सभी बच्चों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया। हादसे में किसी बच्चे या स्कूल स्टाफ के घायल होने की सूचना नहीं है। घटना के बाद बच्चों के परिजनों ने राहत की सांस ली।

Jaipur, @MaruSangram. A major tragedy was averted in Jaisalmer district, Rajasthan, on Mahashivratri. On Tuesday morning, a moving bus carrying children to school near Dhaua village suddenly caught fire. About two dozen children were on board. Seeing smoke coming from the engine, the driver immediately stopped the bus and safely evacuated all the children. Shortly after, the fire engulfed the entire bus.
Which school was the bus?
According to reports, the school bus was carrying children from Pithala village to SM Public School on Dabla Road.
As the bus approached Dhaua village, about 12 kilometers from Jaisalmer city, smoke suddenly began to rise from the front of the bus, i.e., the engine. The driver, showing presence of mind, immediately stopped the bus on the road and began evacuating the children.
The children had just been evacuated and parked at a distance when the fire quickly spread, engulfing most of the bus. The children’s bags and other belongings were also burned in the fire.
3 Fire Brigades Put Out the Fire:
Upon receiving information about the bus fire, local villagers rushed to the scene and informed the fire brigade. Three fire engines from the municipal council arrived. After considerable effort, firefighters managed to control the fire, but by the time the fire was extinguished, most of the bus had been charred to ashes.
According to preliminary information, the fire is suspected to have been caused by a short circuit in the bus’s wiring. However, the exact cause of the fire has not yet been officially confirmed.
Following the incident, a crowd of villagers gathered at the scene, and chaos prevailed for some time.
Fortunately, thanks to the driver’s presence of mind and timely decisions, all the children were safely evacuated. No children or school staff were reported injured in the accident. The children’s families breathed a sigh of relief after the incident.
