!! एक रुपये का सिक्का !!
एक ब्राह्मण व्यक्ति सुबह उठकर मंदिर की ओर जा रहा था। वहां उसे रास्ते में ₹1 का सिक्का मिलता है। वह ब्राह्मण के मन में विचार आता है कि यह ₹1 रुपया में किसी दरिद्र को दे देता हूं।
वह पूरे नगर में ढूंढता है, उसे कोई दरिद्र और भिखारी नहीं मिलता है। हर रोज की तरह सुबह ब्राह्मण मंदिर की ओर प्रस्थान करते हैं। वहां उसे एक राजा दिखाई देता है वह बहुत बड़ी सेना लेकर दूसरे नगर में जाता रहता है।
राजा जैसे ब्राह्मण व्यक्ति को देखता है उसे प्रमाण करता है और कहता है कि महात्मा मैं युद्ध करने जा रहा हूं, आप मुझे आशीर्वाद दीजिए कि मैं दूसरे नगर के राज्यों को भी जीत सकूं।
यह सुनते ही ब्राह्मण व्यक्ति ₹1 का सिक्का राजा के हाथ में थमा देता है। राजा आश्चर्यचकित हो जाता है और पूछता है कि आपने यह ₹1 का सिक्का मेरे हाथ में क्यों थमाया ? ब्राह्मण व्यक्ति उत्तर देते हुए कहते हैं कि, मैं कई दिनों से कोई दरिद्र व्यक्ति ढूंढ रहा हूं जिसे ₹1 रुपया दे सकूं।
पूरे नगर में ऐसा कोई दरिद्र और भिखारी व्यक्ति नहीं मिला जिसे मैं एक रुपये दे सकता हूं। सिर्फ और सिर्फ आप ही मुझे ऐसे दरिद्र व्यक्ति मिले जिनके पास सब कुछ होते हुए भी कुछ नहीं है जिसकी अपेक्षा हमेशा अधिक से अधिक पाने की रहती है। इसलिए मैं यह ₹1 का सिक्का आपको देना चाहता हूं क्योंकि जो दरिद्र व्यक्ति की तलाश में था वह साक्षत मेरे सामने खड़ा है। यह सुनकर राजा का मस्तिष्क शर्म से झुक जाता है और वह अपनी सेना को वापस जाने का आदेश देता है।
शिक्षा:-
इंसान को कुछ पाने की जिद्द होनी चाहिए वह बहुत अच्छी बात है। पर आज कल व्यक्ति की इतनी तीव्र इच्छा होने के कारण मन में विचार आता है… तेरे जेब का पैसा मेरे जेब में कैसे आए, ऐसे स्वार्थी सोच में रहता है… यह बिलकुल भी अच्छी बात नहीं है। फलस्वरूप, उसे सब कुछ मिलने के बाद भी वह दुःखी रहता है क्योंकि उसकी इच्छा कभी खत्म नहीं होती..!!
सदैव प्रसन्न रहिये – जो प्राप्त है, पर्याप्त है।
जिसका मन मस्त है – उसके पास समस्त है।।

!! One Rupee Coin!!
A Brahmin woke up in the morning and was heading towards the temple. He found a ₹1 coin on the way. The Brahmin thought, “I should give this coin to a poor person for ₹1.”
He searched the entire city, but found no poor or beggar. As usual, the Brahmin set off for the temple in the morning. There, he saw a king who was going to another city with a large army.
As soon as the king saw the Brahmin, he recognized him and said, “Mahatma, I am going to war. Please bless me so that I can conquer the kingdoms of other cities.”
Upon hearing this, the Brahmin hands the king a 1 rupee coin. The king is surprised and asks, “Why did you give me this 1 rupee coin?” The Brahmin replies, “For days I’ve been searching for a poor person to whom I can give 1 rupee.”
In the entire city, I haven’t found a single poor, beggar person to whom I can give one rupee. You are the only one I’ve found who possesses everything yet has nothing, always yearning for more and more. Therefore, I want to give you this 1 rupee coin because the one I was looking for is standing right in front of me.” Hearing this, the king’s heart sinks in shame and he orders his army to retreat.
Moral:
It’s a good thing for a person to be determined to achieve something. But nowadays, because of such intense desires, people’s minds become selfishly preoccupied with how to get the money from your pocket into mine. This is not a good thing at all. As a result, even after having everything, they remain unhappy because their desires never end.
Always be happy – what you have is enough.
One who has a happy mind has everything.
