बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। राज्य सरकार की प्रसव सखी योजना उच्च जोखिम गर्भवतियों के लिए भरोसे का माध्यम बन रही है। बीकानेर जिले के पांचू ब्लॉक के बंधाला गांव की 34 वर्षीय सुमित्रा, पत्नी चेनाराम इसका जीवंत उदाहरण बनी है।
पीबीएम अस्पताल में प्रसव सखी की सक्रिय सहायता, त्वरित चिकित्सकीय परामर्श और समय पर उपचार से गंभीर एनीमिया से जूझ रही सुमित्रा अब स्वस्थ होकर अपने घर लौट चुकी है। वर्तमान में उसका हीमोग्लोबिन 6 ग्राम से बढ़कर 8.3 ग्राम हो गया है तथा अगले माह में संभावित प्रसव तक स्वास्थ्य विभाग उसकी नियमित निगरानी कर रहा है।
मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. पुखराज साध ने बताया कि राज्य सरकार द्वारा उच्च जोखिम गर्भवतियों की समय पर पहचान कर उन्हें एक स्वास्थ्यकर्मी, एक रेफरल संस्थान, एक मेडिकल कॉलेज अस्पताल तथा एक एम्बुलेंस से जोड़ने की विशेष कार्ययोजना लागू की गई है। इसी क्रम में भादला की एएनएम मीनाक्षी रंगा ने नियमित प्रसव पूर्व जांच के दौरान सुमित्रा को हाई रिस्क प्रेग्नेंसी के रूप में चिन्हित किया।
जांच में उसका हीमोग्लोबिन लगातार घटकर 6 ग्राम रह गया था। इसके अलावा वह तीसरी बार गर्भवती थी, उसकी आयु 34 वर्ष थी, वजन 42 किलो तथा उसे पीलिया, थायराइड, कैल्शियम की कमी एवं कम वजन जैसी समस्याएं भी थीं।
जोखिम की पहचान होते ही एएनएम मीनाक्षी रंगा स्वयं गर्भवती को सामुदायिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र पांचू लेकर पहुंचीं, जहां चिकित्सक डॉ. नंदकिशोर सुथार ने उसकी गंभीर स्थिति को देखते हुए पीबीएम अस्पताल रेफर कर दिया। इसके बाद एएनएम स्वयं 108 एम्बुलेंस से गर्भवती और उसके परिजनों के साथ पीबीएम अस्पताल पहुंचीं।
पीबीएम अस्पताल के जनाना वार्ड स्थित कमरा नंबर 107 में प्रसव सखी काउंटर पर पहुंचते ही सुमित्रा का ममता कार्ड एवं अन्य दस्तावेजों के आधार पर तत्काल पंजीकरण किया गया।
प्रसव सखी ने बिना किसी विलंब के उसे विशेषज्ञ चिकित्सकों तक पहुंचाया, जहां जांच के बाद तुरंत ब्लड ट्रांसफ्यूजन की आवश्यकता बताई गई। अगले दो दिनों में सुमित्रा को दो यूनिट रक्त चढ़ाया गया, जिससे उसकी स्वास्थ्य स्थिति में उल्लेखनीय सुधार हुआ।
उपचार पूर्ण होने के बाद सुमित्रा 108 एम्बुलेंस से सुरक्षित अपने गांव लौट गई। अब स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा उसका नियमित फॉलो-अप किया जा रहा है ताकि अगस्त माह में उसका सुरक्षित प्रसव हो तथा स्वस्थ शिशु का जन्म सुनिश्चित किया जा सके।
जिला प्रजनन एवं शिशु स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ भवानी शंकर गहलोत ने बताया कि प्रसव सखी योजना, समय पर रेफरल, एम्बुलेंस सेवा तथा मेडिकल कॉलेज स्तर पर त्वरित उपचार का यह समन्वित मॉडल उच्च जोखिम गर्भवतियों के लिए जीवनदायी साबित हो रहा है।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. The state government’s labor friend scheme is becoming a source of trust for high-risk pregnant women. Sumitra, 34, wife of Chenaram, from Bandhala village in Panchu block of Bikaner district, is a living example of this.
With the active support of a labor friend at PBM Hospital, prompt medical consultation, and timely treatment, Sumitra, who was suffering from severe anemia, has now recovered and returned home. Currently, her hemoglobin has increased from 6 grams to 8.3 grams, and the health department is monitoring her regularly until her expected delivery next month.
Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Pukhraj Sadh stated that the state government has implemented a special action plan to promptly identify high-risk pregnant women and connect them with a health worker, a referral institution, a medical college hospital, and an ambulance. In this context, Bhadla’s ANM, Meenakshi Ranga, identified Sumitra as a high-risk pregnancy during a routine prenatal checkup.
Her hemoglobin level had steadily dropped to 6 grams. Furthermore, she was pregnant for the third time, aged 34 years, weighing 42 kg, and suffering from jaundice, thyroid problems, calcium deficiency, and underweight.
Upon identifying the risk, ANM Meenakshi Ranga personally took the pregnant woman to the Community Health Center, Panchu, where Dr. Nandkishore Suthar, seeing her critical condition, referred her to PBM Hospital. The ANM then accompanied the pregnant woman and her family to PBM Hospital via the 108 ambulance.
Upon arriving at the Delivery Sakhi counter in Room No. 107 of the Women’s Ward of PBM Hospital, Sumitra was immediately registered based on her Mamta Card and other documents.
Without delay, the Delivery Sakhi took her to specialist doctors, who, after examination, determined she needed an immediate blood transfusion. Over the next two days, Sumitra received two units of blood, significantly improving her health.
After completing treatment, Sumitra returned safely to her village by 108 ambulance. The health department is now regularly following up with her to ensure a safe delivery and the birth of a healthy baby in August.
District Reproductive and Child Health Officer Dr. Bhavani Shankar Gehlot stated that this integrated model of the Delivery Sakhi scheme, timely referral, ambulance service, and prompt treatment at the medical college level is proving life-saving for high-risk pregnant women.
