बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। बीछवाल करणी औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में जल आपूर्ति बंद होने के सम्बंध में फोर्टी संभाग अध्यक्ष मनमोहन कल्याणी, द्वारकाप्रसाद पचीसिया एवं बीछवाल उद्योग संघ अध्यक्ष प्रशांत कंसल ने जिला कलेक्टर नम्रता वृष्णि को जनहित में हस्तक्षेप करने हेतु ज्ञापन सौंपा।
कल्याणी ने बताया कि 12 मार्च 2026 से रीको द्वारा बीछवाल व करणी औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में सप्लाई बंद कर दी गयी है । इससे इन क्षेत्रों की सैंकड़ों औद्योगिक इकाइयों व यहां बनी आवासीय कॉलोनियों व हजारों श्रमिको पर जल संकट गहराने लगा है तथा जनजीवन प्रभावित होने लगा है।
द्वारकाप्रसाद पचीसिया ने बताया कि बीछवाल औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में फायर ब्रिगेड स्टेशन है जिसकी पानी की आपूर्ति भी रीको पर निर्भर है । ऐसी स्थिति में यदि कोई आगजनी हो जाती है तो पानी की अनुपलब्धता के कारण बड़ी दुर्घटना भी होने का खतरा बन सकता है।
बीछवाल उद्योग संघ अध्यक्ष प्रशांत कंसल ने बताया कि राष्ट्र हरित न्यायाधिकरण (NGT) द्वारा यह कहा गया है कि रीको द्वारा केंद्रीय भूजल प्राधिकरण से आवश्यक अनुमति के बिना भूजल का अवैध दोहन किया जा रहा है।
इस कारण राष्ट्रीय हरित न्यायाधिकरण के निर्देशानुसार जिला प्रशासन द्वारा रीको के सभी बोरवेलों के विद्युत कनेक्शन काट दिए गए हैं जिससे बीछवाल सहित करणी औद्योगिक क्षेत्र की इकाइयों में पानी की आपूर्ति बंद हो गयी है। इससे इकाई संचालन के साथ साथ पीने के पानी की समस्या का भी नागरिकों के जीवन पर बुरा असर पड़ेगा।
बीछवाल औद्योगिक क्षेत्र सचिव गौरव माथुर ने बताया कि पानी सप्लाई बंद होने से बीछवाल में स्थित सरकारी डिस्पेंसरी में कार्यरत चिकित्सकों व मरीजों के साथ साथ रिहायशी कॉलोनियों का जीवन यापन करना मुश्किल हो जाएगा।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Regarding the shutdown of water supply in the Bichwal Karani Industrial Area, Forty Division President Manmohan Kalyani, Dwarka Prasad Pachisia, and Bichwal Industries Association President Prashant Kansal submitted a memorandum to District Collector Namrata Vrishni, requesting public intervention.
Kalyani stated that RIICO has suspended water supply to the Bichwal and Karani Industrial Areas since March 12, 2026. This has led to a severe water crisis in these areas, affecting the lives of hundreds of industrial units, residential colonies, and thousands of workers.
Dwarka Prasad Pachisia stated that the Bichwal Industrial Area has a fire brigade station whose water supply is also dependent on RIICO. In such a situation, if a fire breaks out, the unavailability of water could lead to a major disaster.
Bichwal Industries Association President Prashant Kansal stated that the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has stated that RIICO is illegally extracting groundwater without obtaining the necessary permission from the Central Ground Water Authority.
As a result, the district administration, in accordance with the NGT’s directive, has disconnected the power supply to all RIICO borewells, disrupting water supply to units in Bichwal and the Karani Industrial Area. This will not only impact unit operations but will also adversely impact the lives of residents due to the drinking water problem.
Bichwal Industrial Area Secretary Gaurav Mathur stated that the disruption of water supply will make life difficult for doctors and patients working at the government dispensary in Bichwal, as well as for those in residential colonies.
