बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। शहर के कोटगेट थाना क्षेत्र स्थित रानी बाजार के पट्टी पेड़ा इलाके में एक कैफे पर पुलिस ने सख्त कार्रवाई करते हुए संदिग्ध गतिविधियों पर रोक लगाई है। एसएचओ धीरेंद्र सिंह शेखावत के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ने ‘वेल इन टाइम’ नामक कैफे पर अचानक दबिश दी। मौके पर कैफे बाहर से बंद मिला, जिस पर पुलिस ने ताला खुलवाकर अंदर प्रवेश किया।

कैफे के भीतर छोटे-छोटे केबिन बने हुए थे, जिनमें युवक-युवतियां बैठे पाए गए। पुलिस ने मौके पर मौजूद युवतियों को समझाइश देकर छोड़ दिया, जबकि दो युवकों को शांतिभंग के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया। कार्रवाई के दौरान कैफे में बने सभी केबिनों को मौके पर ही हटवा दिया गया।

पुलिस को कैफे से आपत्तिजनक सामग्री भी बरामद हुई है, जिससे अवैध गतिविधियों की आशंका जताई जा रही है। पुलिस ने कैफे संचालक को सख्त हिदायत दी है कि भविष्य में इस तरह की गतिविधियां पाए जाने पर कड़ी कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

गौरतलब है कि इससे पहले भी कोटगेट थाना पुलिस शहर के अन्य कैफे पर इसी प्रकार की कार्रवाई कर चुकी है, जहां अवैध केबिन हटवाए गए थे। इसके बावजूद शहर में कुछ कैफे अब भी खुलेआम संचालित हो रहे हैं, जहां कथित तौर पर नशा और आपत्तिजनक गतिविधियों के लिए सुरक्षित केबिन उपलब्ध करवाने की शिकायतें सामने आ रही हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि ऐसे मामलों पर लगातार नजर रखी जा रही है और दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कदम उठाए जाएंगे।

A police team, led by SHO Dhirendra Singh Shekhawat, conducted a surprise raid on a cafe named ‘Well in Time’. The cafe was found locked from the outside, and the police had the lock opened to gain entry.

Inside the cafe, small cabins were found, where young men and women were sitting. The police counseled the young women and released them, while two young men were arrested on charges of disturbing the peace. During the operation, all the cabins in the cafe were demolished on the spot.

The police also recovered objectionable material from the cafe, raising suspicions of illegal activities. The police have given a strict warning to the cafe owner that stringent legal action will be taken if similar activities are found in the future.

It is noteworthy that the Kotgate police station has previously taken similar action against other cafes in the city, where illegal cabins were removed. Despite this, some cafes in the city are still operating openly, and there are complaints that they are allegedly providing private cabins for drug use and other objectionable activities. The police say that these cases are being continuously monitored and strict action will be taken against the culprits.
