बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब द्वारा पत्रकार खेलकूद प्रतियोगिता के तहत औद्योगिक क्षेत्र स्थित द पावर प्ले स्टेडियम में क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का आयोजन किया गया। बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब के अध्यक्ष कुशाल सिंह मेड़तिया ने बताया कि लोटस डेयरी के एमडी अविनाश मोदी एवं नगर निगम आयुक्त मयंक मनीष ने टूर्नामेंट का टॉस सिक्का उछाल कर शुभारम्भ किया।
इस अवसर पर पत्रकार श्याम मारु, बीपीसी के पूर्व अध्यक्ष सुरेश बोड़ा द्वारा खिलाडिय़ों से परिचय सत्र के साथ ही मैत्री मैच के लिए शुभकामनाएं दी गई। खेल प्रभारी राजेन्द्र स्वामी ने बताया कि पहला मैच पत्रकारों का मुकाबला पुलिस के साथ हुआ जिसमें पुलिस टीम ने 151 रन 3 विकेट के नुकसान पर बनाए जवाब में पत्रकारों की टीम केवल 22 रन पर ऑलआउट हो गई। दूसरा मुकाबला डॉक्टर्स व पत्रकारों की बी टीम के साथ हुआ जिसमें पत्रकारों की टीम 10 ओवर में पांच विकेट खोकर 70 रन बनाए तथा लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए डॉक्टर्स की टीम ने 7 ओवर में केवल एक विकेट खोकर 76 रन बनाकर विजेता बनी। तीसरा मैच बीकानेर प्रशासन के साथ हुआ जिसमें बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब की सी टीम ने 10 ओवर में 66 रन 8 विकेट के नुकसान में बनाए तथा लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए बीकानेर प्रशासन की टीम ने मात्र 5 ओवर में 69 रन एक विकेट के नुकसान पर बना कर सफलता हासिल की। टूर्नामेंट का अंतिम मैच व्यापार मंडल के साथ हुआ जिसमें व्यापार मंडल की टीम ने 10 ओवर में 5 विकेट खोकर 124 रन का लक्ष्य दिया जवाब में पत्रकारों की टीम 41 रन पर ऑलआउट हो गई। पत्रकार साथियों ने द पावर प्ले स्टेडियम के डायरेक्टर सैफ अली खान एवं एम्पायर्स का आभार व्यक्त किया।
प्रभारी राजेन्द्र स्वामी ने बताया कि आज दोपहर को होटल वृंदावन में पुरस्कार वितरण तथा पौष बड़ा कार्यक्रम आयोजित होगा। प्रतियोगिता में मुख्य प्रायोजक लोटस डेयरी एवं सहप्रायोजक बीकाजी ग्रुप हैं तथा पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह में प्रशासनिक अधिकारी एवं जनप्रतिनिधियों का आतिथ्य रहेगा।

Journalist Sports Competition: Traders, Police, Doctors, and Administration Teams Win Matches in Cricket Tournament; Award Ceremony to be Held Today…
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. A cricket tournament was organized by the Bikaner Press Club as part of the Journalist Sports Competition at The Power Play Stadium in the industrial area. Bikaner Press Club President Kushal Singh Medtia informed that Lotus Dairy MD Avinash Modi and Municipal Commissioner Mayank Manish inaugurated the tournament by tossing the coin.
On this occasion, journalist Shyam Maru and former BPC president Suresh Boda introduced the players and extended their best wishes for the friendly matches. Sports in-charge Rajendra Swami said that the first match was between the journalists and the police team. The police team scored 151 runs for the loss of 3 wickets, while the journalists’ team was all out for only 22 runs. The second match was between the doctors and the journalists’ B team. The journalists’ team scored 70 runs for the loss of five wickets in 10 overs, and chasing the target, the doctors’ team won by scoring 76 runs for the loss of only one wicket in 7 overs. The third match was against the Bikaner administration. The Bikaner Press Club’s C team scored 66 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 10 overs, and chasing the target, the Bikaner administration team achieved success by scoring 69 runs for the loss of one wicket in just 5 overs. The final match of the tournament was against the Traders’ Association. The Traders’ Association team set a target of 124 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 10 overs, while the journalists’ team was all out for 41 runs. The journalists expressed their gratitude to the Director of The Power Play Stadium, Saif Ali Khan, and the umpires.
In-charge Rajendra Swami informed that the award distribution ceremony and a community meal (Posh Bada) program will be held at Hotel Vrindavan this afternoon. The main sponsor of the competition is Lotus Dairy and the co-sponsor is Bikaji Group. Administrative officers and public representatives will be present at the award distribution ceremony.
