ऊर्जा संरक्षण में इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर की राष्ट्रीय उपलब्धि, विज्ञान भवन में मिला प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान

सामूहिक प्रयासों से रचा गया इतिहास: इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर को ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस पर राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार

बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर (ECB) को ऊर्जा संरक्षण के क्षेत्र में किए गए उल्लेखनीय कार्यों के लिए राष्ट्रीय ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस के उपलक्ष्य पर राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सम्मानित किया गया है।

यह प्रतिष्ठित पुरस्कार विज्ञान भवन, नई दिल्ली में ऊर्जा संरक्षण दिवस के अवसर पर आयोजित भव्य समारोह में प्रदान किया गया।

इस कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुरमू थीं, जबकि भारत सरकार के ऊर्जा एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री मनोहर लाल द्वारा यह पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया।

उल्लेखनीय है कि भारत सरकार द्वारा इस वर्ष पहली बार शिक्षा क्षेत्र की शिक्षण संस्थानों को भी ऊर्जा संरक्षण पुरस्कार की श्रेणी में सम्मिलित किया गया, जिसमें इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर का चयन होना महाविद्यालय की उपलब्धि को और अधिक विशिष्ट बनाता है।

यह सम्मान महाविद्यालय के प्रतिनिधि एवं पूर्व प्राचार्य डॉ. ओम प्रकाश जाखड़ ने प्राप्त किया। इस अवसर पर जोधपुर विद्युत वितरण निगम के पूर्व मुख्य अभियंता एवं ऊर्जा ऑडिटर मोहन सिंह फगेरिया भी उपस्थित रहे।

यह उपलब्धि पिछले एक वर्ष में महाविद्यालय के समस्त कार्मिकों तथा विद्युत सम्पदा विभाग के सामूहिक और सतत प्रयासों का प्रतिफल है, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर को राष्ट्रीय पहचान प्राप्त हुई है।

महाविद्यालय द्वारा ऊर्जा संरक्षण हेतु अनेक प्रभावी कदम उठाए गए हैं। इनमें ऊर्जा ऑडिट का करवाना, नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा का अधिकाधिक उपयोग, ऊर्जा लीकेज में कमी, उच्च स्टार रेटिंग वाले विद्युत उपकरणों की स्थापना तथा कर्मचारियों एवं छात्रों के बीच ऊर्जा बचत को लेकर जागरूकता अभियान प्रमुख हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त ऊर्जा खपत को कम करने की दिशा में निरंतर प्रयास किए गए।

तकनीकी स्तर पर मैक्सिमम डे-लाइटिंग यूटिलाइजेशन, पावर फैक्टर में सुधार, ट्रांसफॉर्मर लोड बैलेंसिंग जैसे उपाय अपनाए गए। साथ ही व्यापक वृक्षारोपण कर ग्रीन कैंपस विकसित किया गया, जिससे परिसर के तापमान में भी कमी आई है। ऊर्जा ऑडिट मोहन सिंह फगेरिया जी द्वारा संपन्न करवाई गई।

डॉ. ओम प्रकाश जाखड़ ने कहा कि ये उपलब्धि न केवल संस्थान के लिए, बल्कि राजस्थान के शैक्षणिक जगत के लिए भी गौरव का विषय है और भविष्य में सतत विकास एवं ऊर्जा संरक्षण के प्रयासों के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत सिद्ध होगी।

महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. संजीव जैन ने इस उपलब्धि पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह पुरस्कार इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर की टीमवर्क संस्कृति, सतत विकास के प्रति प्रतिबद्धता तथा भविष्य में और अधिक ऊर्जा-संरक्षण नवाचारों के लिए प्रेरणा का प्रतीक है।

Engineering College Bikaner’s national achievement in energy conservation, receives prestigious award at Vigyan Bhavan

History created through collective efforts: Engineering College Bikaner receives National Award on Energy Conservation Day

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Engineering College Bikaner (ECB) has been honored at the national level for its remarkable work in the field of energy conservation on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day.

This prestigious award was presented at a grand ceremony held at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on the occasion of Energy Conservation Day.

The chief guest at the event was President Droupadi Murmu, while the award was presented by the Union Minister for Power and Urban Development, Manohar Lal.

It is noteworthy that this year, for the first time, the Government of India included educational institutions in the category of energy conservation awards, and the selection of Engineering College Bikaner makes this achievement even more special.

The award was received by the college’s representative and former principal, Dr. Om Prakash Jakhar. Former Chief Engineer and Energy Auditor of Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam, Mohan Singh Fageria, was also present on the occasion.

This achievement is the result of the collective and continuous efforts of all the staff of the college and the Electrical Engineering Department over the past year, which has earned Engineering College Bikaner national recognition.

The college has taken several effective steps towards energy conservation. These include conducting energy audits, maximizing the use of renewable energy, reducing energy leakage, installing high-star-rated electrical equipment, and conducting awareness campaigns among staff and students regarding energy saving. In addition, continuous efforts have been made to reduce energy consumption.

At the technical level, measures such as maximum daylight utilization, power factor improvement, and transformer load balancing were adopted. A green campus was also developed through extensive tree plantation, which has also reduced the temperature of the campus. The energy audit was conducted by Mohan Singh Fageria. Dr. Om Prakash Jakhar said that this achievement is a matter of pride not only for the institution but also for the entire academic community of Rajasthan, and will serve as an inspiration for future efforts in sustainable development and energy conservation.

The college principal, Dr. Sanjeev Jain, expressed his delight at this achievement, stating that this award symbolizes the teamwork culture of the Engineering College Bikaner, its commitment to sustainable development, and its inspiration for even more energy-saving innovations in the future.
