गरबा-डांडिया की धुनों पर झूमे 600 विद्यार्थी, भक्ति और उल्लास से सराबोर हुआ वातावरण
अतिथियों ने कहा – ऐसे आयोजन छात्रों में ऊर्जा, संस्कृति और सामाजिक समरसता का करते हैं विकास
Bikaner, @MaruSangram। शारदीय नवरात्र महापर्व के उपलक्ष्य में इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज बीकानेर (ईसीबी) के स्टूडेंट एक्टिविटी सेंटर (सैक) की ओर से डांडिया और गरबा नृत्य महोत्सव “नवरंग नवरात्रि-2025” का रंगारंग आयोजन किया गया। यह कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय परिसर में उल्लास और भक्ति की धुनों पर गूँजा।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ खाजूवाला क्षेत्र के विधायक डॉ. विश्वनाथ मेघवाल, बीकानेर तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलगुरु प्रो. अखिल रंजन गर्ग और प्राचार्य डॉ. ओम प्रकाश जाखड़ ने दीप प्रज्वलन कर किया।
रंग-बिरंगे पारंपरिक परिधानों में सजे छात्र-छात्राओं ने गरबा और डांडिया नृत्य की प्रस्तुतियों से दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। पूरे कैंपस में माता रानी के भजनों और लोकनृत्य की थिरकन से भक्ति और उमंग का अनूठा संगम दिखाई दिया।
मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. विश्वनाथ मेघवाल ने कहा कि नवरंग जैसे सांस्कृतिक आयोजन युवाओं को न केवल अपनी जड़ों और परंपरा से जोड़ते हैं, बल्कि उनमें सहयोग, भाईचारे और सामाजिक मूल्यों का भी विकास करते हैं। शिक्षा केवल पुस्तकों तक सीमित नहीं, बल्कि ऐसे उत्सव उसके व्यावहारिक स्वरूप को सामने लाते हैं।
विशिष्ट अतिथि बीकानेर तकनीकी विश्वविद्यालय के कुलगुरु प्रो. अखिल रंजन गर्ग ने छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि त्योहार समाज की धड़कन होते हैं। नवरंग जैसे कार्यक्रम विद्यार्थियों में नई ऊर्जा भरते हैं और यह अगली पीढ़ी को संस्कृति से जुड़ने का अवसर भी देते हैं। तकनीकी शिक्षा के साथ सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि ही विद्यार्थियों को पूर्ण व्यक्तित्व प्रदान करती है।
ईसीबी के प्राचार्य डॉ. ओम प्रकाश जाखड़ ने अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि महाविद्यालय लगातार ऐसे सांस्कृतिक और शैक्षणिक कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन करता रहा है, जिससे छात्रों में सामाजिक समरसता और नेतृत्व क्षमता का विकास होता है।
आयोजन समिति के समन्वयक डॉ. धर्मेंद्र सिंह, डॉ. प्रीति नरुका, डॉ. शिवांगी बिस्सा और डॉ. शौकत अली ने बताया कि छात्र-छात्राओं का उत्साह इस बार पिछले वर्षों की तुलना में कहीं अधिक देखने को मिला।
इस अवसर पर 600 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों ने गरबा और डांडिया नृत्य में भाग लिया। प्रतियोगिताओं में विजेताओं को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु पुरस्कृत भी किया गया।
ये रहे विजेता
एथिनिक परिवेश श्रेणी में कानु सिंह (सीएस तृतीय वर्ष), गोविंद सिंह (एमई तृतीय वर्ष) और ध्रुव लिम्बा (सीई चतुर्थ वर्ष) क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय स्थान पर रहे।
नृत्य श्रेणी में शुभम कुमावत (सीएस तृतीय वर्ष), पुलकित सुथार (एआईडीएस तृतीय वर्ष) और नितेश प्रजापत (आईटी तृतीय वर्ष) को विजेता घोषित किया गया।
फैकल्टी वर्ग की एथिनिक गणवेश में उदय व्यास, विनीत कुमार और सी.एस. राजोरिया को क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त हुआ।
जज पैनल में डॉ. विनीत कुमार, डॉ. श्याम सुंदर सुथार, डॉ. ऋचा यादव और डॉ. रेखा स्वामी शामिल रहे। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डॉ. अंकुर गोस्वामी ने किया। वहीं
कार्यक्रम के सफल आयोजन में शैक्षणिक और अशैक्षणिक स्टाफ के साथ-साथ विभिन्न स्पॉन्सर्स का भी योगदान रहा। अंत में रजिस्ट्रार डॉ अमित सोनी और डॉ. सी.एन. श्रीमाली ने सभी अतिथियों, निर्णायकों और नवरंग टीम का आभार व्यक्त किया।

600 students danced to the tunes of Garba and Dandiya, the atmosphere filled with devotion and joy
Guests said – such events foster energy, culture, and social harmony among students
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. To commemorate the grand festival of Sharadiya Navratri, the Student Activity Center (SAC) of Engineering College Bikaner (ECB) organized a colorful Dandiya and Garba dance festival, “Navrang Navratri-2025.” The event resonated with joy and devotional tunes throughout the college campus.
The program was inaugurated by Khajuwala MLA Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal, Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University Prof. Akhil Ranjan Garg and Principal Dr. Om Prakash Jakhar inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp.
Students dressed in colorful traditional attire mesmerized the audience with their Garba and Dandiya dance performances. The entire campus was filled with devotion and enthusiasm, with the hymns of Mata Rani and folk dances blaring throughout the campus.
Chief Guest Dr. Vishwanath Meghwal said that cultural events like Navrang not only connect youth with their roots and traditions, but also foster cooperation, brotherhood, and social values. Education is not limited to books; such festivals bring out its practical aspect.
Addressing the students, Guest Professor Akhil Ranjan Garg, Vice Chancellor of Bikaner Technical University, said that festivals are the heartbeat of society. Events like Navrang infuse new energy into students and provide the next generation with an opportunity to connect with culture. Cultural enrichment, combined with technical education, provides students with a well-rounded personality.
Welcoming the guests, ECB Principal Dr. Om Prakash Jakhar stated that the college has consistently organized cultural and educational programs that foster social harmony and leadership skills among students.
Organizing committee coordinators Dr. Dharmendra Singh, Dr. Preeti Naruka, Dr. Shivangi Bissa, and Dr. Shaukat Ali stated that the students’ enthusiasm was even greater this year than in previous years.
More than 600 students participated in Garba and Dandiya dance competitions. Prizes were also awarded to encourage the winners.

In the Ethnic Environment category, Kanu Singh (3rd year CS), Govind Singh (3rd year ME), and Dhruv Limba (4th year CE) secured first, second, and third places, respectively.
In the Dance category, Shubham Kumawat (3rd year CS), Pulkit Suthar (3rd year AIDS), and Nitesh Prajapat (3rd year IT) were declared winners.
In the Faculty category of ethnic uniform, Uday Vyas, Vineet Kumar, and C.S. Rajoria received first, second, and third place, respectively.
The judging panel included Dr. Vineet Kumar, Dr. Shyam Sundar Suthar, Dr. Richa Yadav, and Dr. Rekha Swami. The program was moderated by Dr. Ankur Goswami.
The academic and non-academic staff, as well as various sponsors, contributed to the successful organization of the program. Finally, Registrar Dr. Amit Soni and Dr. C.N. Shrimali expressed their gratitude to all the guests, judges, and the Navrang team.
