बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, बीकानेर द्वारा आयोजित हो रही राष्ट्रीय स्तर की साईकिलिंग रोड रेस पुरुष एवं महिला प्रतियोगिता के आज दूसरे दिन टीम टाईम ट्रायल स्पर्धा में मेजबान विश्वविद्यालय ने दोनों वर्गों में स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त कर इतिहास रचा।
आयोजन सचिव एवं खेलकूद निदेशक डॉ. यशवन्त गहलोत ने बताया कि आज दूसरे दिन टीम टाईम ट्रायल स्पर्धा में पुरुष वर्ग में महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय के खिलाड़ी मानव सारड़ा, तोलाराम डूडी, मोहित चौधरी एवं भरत बिजारणियां ने 01ः02ः34 समय स्वर्ण पदक, रजत पदक लवली प्रोफेशनल विश्वविद्यालय, जलंधर के गौरांग गोरे, नारायण सियाग, वासुदेव बिश्नोई एवं सुभाष ने 01ः02ः39 समय के साथ एवं कांस्य पदक गुरू नानक देव विश्वविद्यालय, अमृतसर के श्रवण साध, खेताराम, अंगद एवं सुषांत ने 01ः03ः50 समय के साथ प्राप्त किया।
इसी स्पर्धा के महिला वर्ग में महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय बीकानेर की पूजा बिश्नोई, तरूणा बिश्नोई, बसन्ती कुमावत एवं हेमलता धाकड़ ने 47ः59ः52 समय के साथ स्वर्ण पदक, लवली प्रोफेशनल विश्वविद्यालय, जलंधर की प्रियंका बिश्नोई, निकिता, रिंकू भाम्भू एवं खुशबू ने 50ः22ः54 समय के साथ रजत पदक एवं पंजाबी विश्वविद्यालय, पटियाला की मंजू चौधरी, भगवती, ललिता एवं गोमती ने 51ः49ः55 समय के साथ कांस्य पदक प्राप्त किया। विश्वविद्यालय के प्रशिक्षक किशन पुरोहित एवं श्रवण डूडी को कुलपति द्वारा स्वर्ण पदक प्राप्त करने पर बधाई प्रेषित की।
उल्लेखनीय है कि प्रतियोगिता के दूसरे दिन दांव पर लगे दोनों स्वर्ण पदक मेजबान महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय ने प्राप्त कर साईकिलिंग के क्षेत्र में विश्वविद्यालयी खेलों में धाक जमाई। प्रतियोगिता के तीसरे दिन पुरुष वर्ग में मास स्टार्ट एवं महिला वर्ग में क्रिटेरियम स्पर्धा आयोजित होगी।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. On the second day of the national level cycling road race men’s and women’s competition being organised by Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, the host university created history by winning gold medals in both categories in the team time trial event.
Organizing Secretary and Sports Director Dr. Yashwant Gehlot informed that today on the second day, in the team time trial competition, in the men’s category, Maharaja Ganga Singh University players Manav Sarda, Tola Ram Doodi, Mohit Chaudhary and Bharat Bijaranian won the gold medal with the time of 01:02:34, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar’s Gaurang Gore, Narayan Siyag, Vasudev Bishnoi and Subhash won the silver medal with the time of 01:02:39 and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar’s Shravan Sadh, Khetaram, Angad and Sushant won the bronze medal with the time of 01:03:50.
In the women’s category of the same competition, Pooja Bishnoi, Taruna Bishnoi, Basanti Kumawat and Hemlata Dhakad of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner won gold medal with a time of 47:59:52, Priyanka Bishnoi, Nikita, Rinku Bhambhu and Khushboo of Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar won silver medal with a time of 50:22:54 and Manju Chaudhary, Bhagwati, Lalita and Gomti of Punjabi University, Patiala won bronze medal with a time of 51:49:55. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the university’s coaches Kishan Purohit and Shravan Doodi on winning the gold medal.
It is worth mentioning that the host Maharaja Ganga Singh University won both the gold medals at stake on the second day of the competition and made its mark in the university sports in the field of cycling. On the third day of the competition, Mass Start in the men’s category and Criterium in the women’s category will be organized.
