बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय के इतिहास विभाग के तत्वाधान में विश्व बंजारा दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में एक दिवसीय संगोष्ठी आयोजित हुई जिसका विषय गौरव हमारा बंजारा हमारा रखा गया।
कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि अधिष्ठाता छात्र कल्याण डॉ. मेघना शर्मा रहीं तो वहीं अध्यक्षता सह अधिष्ठाता छात्र कल्याण डॉ प्रभु दान चारण द्वारा की गई।
सर्वप्रथम मां सरस्वती के चित्र के समक्ष दीप प्रज्जवलन हुआ तत्पश्चात कार्यक्रम के मुख्य वक्ता तुलसाराम बंजारा ने बंजारा समाज, संस्कृति तथा ऐतिहासिक परिपेक्ष को विस्तार से रेखांकित किया।
उन्होंने बताया कि हड़प्पा सभ्यता से पूर्व से वर्तमान तक बंजारा समुदाय प्रकृति व संस्कृति का संवाहक रहा है। इस समुदाय का व्यापार में प्राचीन काल से ही अभूतपूर्व योगदान रहा।
इतिहास विभाग के अतिथि शिक्षक डॉ. खुशाल पुरोहित ने बंजारा समुदाय पर शोध की आवश्यकता जताते हुए नज़ीर अकबराबादी की बंजारानामा से काव्य पाठ किया।
कार्यक्रम की अगली कड़ी में विशिष्ट अतिथि डॉ. रितेश व्यास ने बंजारा समुदाय द्वारा किए जलसंरक्षण के विषय पर गंभीर चर्चा की। यूजीसी फेलो रीना यादव ने बंजारा समुदाय के द्वारा नमक व्यापार पर पत्रवाचन किया।
मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में डॉ. मेघना शर्मा ने विश्व इतिहास में बंजारों का योगदान बताते हुए बंजारा संस्कृति की महिलाओं की जिजीविषा को रेखांकित किया तो डॉ. प्रभु दान चारण ने पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं वनस्पति ज्ञान में बंजारों के योगदान पर चर्चा की।
छात्र जाह्नवी ने बंजारों की स्थिति पर कविता पाठ किया। मंच संचालन राजस्थानी विभाग के अतिथि व्याख्याता रामोवतार उपाध्याय ने किया।
कार्यक्रम में इतिहास विभाग के अतिथि शिक्षक डॉ. रिंकू जोशी, किरण एवं यूजीसी फेलो पूनम चौधरी, बजरंग कलवानी, तेजपाल भारती, उमेश पुरोहित व छात्र-छात्राएं मौजूद रहे। धन्यवाद ज्ञापन डॉ. गोपाल कृष्ण व्यास द्वारा दिया गया।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. A one day seminar was organized on the occasion of World Banjara Day under the aegis of the History Department of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, the theme of which was Gaurav Hamara Banjara Hamara.
The chief guest of the program was Dean Student Welfare Dr. Meghna Sharma, while the chairperson was Co-Dean Student Welfare Dr. Prabhu Dan Charan.
First of all, the lamp was lit in front of the picture of Mother Saraswati, after which the main speaker of the program Tulsaram Banjara outlined the Banjara society, culture and historical context in detail.
He told that from before the Harappan civilization to the present, the Banjara community has been the carrier of nature and culture. This community has made an unprecedented contribution in trade since ancient times.
Guest teacher of History Department Dr. Khushal Purohit expressed the need for research on Banjara community and recited a poem from Nazir Akbarabadi’s Banjaranama.
In the next part of the program, special guest Dr. Ritesh Vyas seriously discussed the subject of water conservation done by Banjara community. UGC Fellow Reena Yadav read a paper on salt trade by Banjara community.
As the chief guest, Dr. Meghna Sharma, while describing the contribution of Banjaras in world history, underlined the will to live of women of Banjara culture, while Dr. Prabhu Dan Charan discussed the contribution of Banjaras in environmental conservation and botanical knowledge.
Student Jahnvi recited a poem on the condition of Banjaras. The stage was conducted by guest lecturer Ramovatar Upadhyay of Rajasthani Department.
Guest teacher of History Department Dr. Rinku Joshi, Kiran and UGC Fellow Poonam Chaudhary, Bajrang Kalwani, Tejpal Bharti, Umesh Purohit and students were present in the program. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Gopal Krishna Vyas.
