जलदाय विभाग के अधीक्षण अभियंता ने की अपील
बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। प्रस्तावित नहरबंदी के दौरान पेयजल उपलब्धता में कमी के मद्देनजर जलदाय विभाग के अधीक्षण अभियंता खेमचंद सिंगारिया ने उपभोक्ताओं से पानी की बचत और जल संरक्षण में योगदान की अपील की है।
उन्होंने कहा है कि आमजन छोटी-छोटी बातों का ध्यान रख और अपनी आदतों में बदलाव कर जल संरक्षण कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि किसी घर में टपकता हुआ नल हो, तो इसे ठीक करवाएं क्योकि एक टपकता नल दिनभर में करीब अस्सी लीटर पानी बर्बाद करता है। नहाते वक्त शॉवर की बजाय बाल्टी में पानी भरकर नहाएं। ऐसा करके प्रतिदिन एक परिवार तकरीबन सौ लीटर पानी की बचत कर सकता है।
उन्होंने कहा शेव करते समय मग में पानी लेकर प्रयोग करें, जिससे नल से बहते हुए पानी को रोका जा सके। कूलर में उतना ही पानी प्रयोग करें, जितनी जरूरत हो।
उन्होंने कहा कि आमतौर पर देखा गया है कि लोग गर्मी में अपने घर की छतों और घर के बाहर अनावश्यक पानी छिडकाव करते हैं। ऐसा न करके हम प्रतिदिन सैेकडों लीटर पानी की बचत कर सकते हैं। इसी तरह सार्वजनिक पानी स्टैण्ड, पीएसपी का भी उचित प्रयोग करें और वहां बहता पानी न छोडकर, बहते जल का नल बंद कर दें। अपने शौचालयों में भी पानी का प्रयोग मितव्ययता से करें।
घरों में आरओ से निकले अनुपयोगी पानी को अपने शौचालयों में प्रयोग कर जल बचत कर सकते हैं। इस तरह आमजन विभाग का सहयोग करें तो नहरबंदी के दौरान जल संकट के हालात पैदा नहीं होेंगे और लीकेज की समस्या को तुरंत अवगत करवाएं, जिससे समय रहते दुरूस्त किया जा सके।
उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि आमजन पानी के प्रति सजग रहकर नहरबंदी के दौरान विभाग का सहयोग करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि जल के अपव्यय को रोकने तथा पेयजल से संबंधित समस्या के निदान हेतु विभाग का कंट्रोल रूम 24 घण्टे लगातार कार्य कर रहा है। जिसका दूरभाष नम्बर 0151-2226454 है। विभाग द्वारा अवैध जल संबंध हटाने का अभियान 22 मार्च से आरम्भ है। अभियान के अंतर्गत अब तक 439 अवैध जल संबंध विच्छेद किए हैं।
अभियान के अंतर्गत सभी सहायक अभियंता अपने क्षेत्र में नियमित रूप से अवैध जल संबंधों को चिन्हित कर रहे हैं।
विभागीय निर्देशों की अनुपालना में अवैध जल संबंध पाये जाने पर एफआईआर कर दी जाएगी, जिसमें विभागीय सम्पत्ति को नुकसान करना तथा जल चोरी की मात्रा के आंकलन अनुसार शास्ती आरोपित की जाएगी।

Appeal made by the Superintending Engineer of the Water Supply Department
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. In view of the lack of availability of drinking water during the proposed canal closure, the Superintending Engineer of the Water Supply Department, Khemchand Singaria has appealed to the consumers to save water and contribute to water conservation.
He has said that the general public can conserve water by taking care of small things and changing their habits. He said that if there is a leaking tap in a house, then get it repaired because a leaking tap wastes about eighty liters of water in a day. While bathing, fill water in a bucket instead of using a shower. By doing this, a family can save about a hundred liters of water every day.
He said that while shaving, use water in a mug, so that the water flowing from the tap can be stopped. Use only as much water in the cooler as is needed.
He said that it is usually seen that people spray unnecessary water on the roofs of their houses and outside the house in summer. By not doing this, we can save hundreds of liters of water every day. Similarly, use public water stands, PSP appropriately and do not leave running water there, instead close the tap of running water. Use water economically in your toilets too.
You can save water by using unused water from RO in your homes in your toilets. If the general public cooperates with the department in this way, then there will be no water crisis during the canal closure and immediately inform about the problem of leakage, so that it can be fixed in time.
He expressed confidence that the general public will cooperate with the department during the canal closure by being alert towards water. He said that the control room of the department is working continuously for 24 hours to prevent wastage of water and solve the problem related to drinking water. Its telephone number is 0151-2226454. The campaign to remove illegal water connections by the department has started from 22nd March. So far 439 illegal water connections have been disconnected under the campaign.
Under the campaign, all the assistant engineers are regularly identifying illegal water connections in their area.
In compliance with the departmental instructions, if illegal water connections are found, an FIR will be lodged, in which penalty will be imposed as per the assessment of damage to departmental property and the amount of water theft.
