बॉम की बैठक में लगी मुहर, 3 मई को हुई बैठक
कोटा, @MaruSangram। कोटा विश्वविद्यालय के प्रबंध मंडल (बॉम) की आपात बैठक शुक्रवार 3 मई को विश्वविद्यालय स्थित कुलपति सचिवालय कक्ष में आयोजित की गई। बैठक की अध्यक्षता कुलपति प्रोफेसर नीलिमा सिंह ने की।
इस बैठक में राज्यपाल के प्रतिनिधि प्रोफेसर एनसी गौतम, प्रोफेसर बीपी सारस्वत, संभागीय आयुक्त, राज्य सरकार के प्रतिनिधि डॉ. मुकेश शर्मा, कुलसचिव प्रोफेसर रीना दाधीच, डॉ. अनुकृति शर्मा आदि सदस्य मौजूद रहे।
वर्तमान कुलपति प्रोफेसर नीलिमा सिंह का कार्यकाल सितम्बर 2024 में पूरा हो रहा है, इसी के मद्देनजर कुलपति सर्च कमेटी में प्रबंध मंडल के सदस्य के चयन के लिए राजभवन के निर्देशानुसार इस बैठक का आयोजन किया गया।
प्रबंध मंडल ने वर्धमान महावीर खुला विश्वविद्यालय कोटा के कुलपति प्रोफेसर कैलाश सोडाणी को कुलपति सर्च कमेटी में प्रबंध मंडल नॉमिनी के तौर पर सर्वसम्मति से चयनित किया।
गौरतलब हो कि कुलपति सर्च कमेटी में चार सदस्य होते हैं। सबसे पहले बॉम नामिनी का चयन होता है। इसके बाद राज्य सरकार का प्रतिनिधि और यूजीसी का प्रतिनिधि मनोनीत होता है और अंत में राज्यपाल यानी कुलाधिपति का प्रतिनिधि नामित होता है। कुलाधिपति प्रतिनिधि ही इस कमेटी के अध्यक्ष होते हैं।

Approval put in BOM meeting, meeting held on 3 May
Kota, @MaruSangram. An emergency meeting of the Board of Management (BOM) of Kota University was held on Friday, May 3, in the Vice Chancellor Secretariat Room at the University. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Neelima Singh.
In this meeting, Governor’s representative Professor NC Gautam, Professor BP Saraswat, Divisional Commissioner, State Government representative Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Registrar Professor Reena Dadhich, Dr. Anukriti Sharma and other members were present.
The tenure of the current Vice Chancellor Professor Neelima Singh is ending in September 2024, in view of this, this meeting was organized as per the instructions of the Raj Bhavan for the selection of a member of the Board of Management in the Vice Chancellor Search Committee.
The Board of Management unanimously selected Professor Kailash Sodani, Vice Chancellor of Vardhman Mahavir Open University Kota, as the Board of Management Nominee in the Vice Chancellor Search Committee.
It is worth noting that there are four members in the Vice Chancellor Search Committee. First of all, the BOM nominee is selected. After this, the representative of the state government and the representative of the UGC are nominated and finally the representative of the Governor i.e. the Chancellor is the chairman of this committee.
