बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। सरदार पटेल मेडिकल कॉलेज से संबंद्ध सुपर स्पेशलिटी ब्लॉक के पीडिया सर्जरी विभाग के डॉक्टर्स की टीम ने पिछले दिनों एक माह की आयु के बच्चे के पेट से 1.4 किलोग्राम वजन की गांठ सफल ऑपरेशन के माध्यम से निकाल कर उसे जीवन दान प्रदान किया है, यह ऑपरेशन मुख्यमंत्री आयुष्मान आरोगय योजना के तहत पूर्णतः निःशुल्क किया गया। पीडिया सर्जरी विभाग के विभागाध्यक्ष डॉक्टर गिरिश प्रभार के दिशा निर्देश में सहायक आचार्य डॉ. एम.एल. काजला ने यह बड़ा ऑपरेशन किया एनिस्थिसिया टीम में डॉ. सोनाली धवन, डॉ. गरीमा शर्मा तथा डॉ. शिवा सहित नर्सिंग स्टाफ राहूल शर्मा सहित अन्य सहायक स्टाफ आदि का विशेष सहयोग रहा।
डॉ. काजला ने बताया कि एक माह के बच्चे के परीजन उसके पेट में फुलावट की शिकायत लेकर आए जो कि पिछले 15 दिवस में बहुत तेजी से बढ रही थी। बच्चे का परीक्षण करने पर पेट में एक बहुत बड़ीं गांठ पाई गयी जो पेट के उपरी हिस्से से बिचले हिस्से तक तथा पेट के दोनो (दाय व बायें) हिस्से में फैली हुई थी।
आवश्यक जाचें एव पेट की सोनोग्राफी के बाद बच्चे के ऑपरेशन करने का निर्णय लिया गया। ऑपरेशन के लिए पेट खोलने पर बहुत बड़ी गांठ (काईलस सिस्ट) मिली जो की छोटी आंत को सप्लाई करने वाली खुन की नशों के बीच जुड़ी हुई थी।
गांठ के साथ छोटी आतं का हिस्सा भी निकाला गया जिससे वह जुड़ी थी। तथा आंत के दोनो हिस्सों को आपस में ऑपरेशन कर आपस में जोड़ा गया। गांठ का वजन 1.4 किलो था जो बच्चे के कुल वजन का एक तिहाई से अधिक था।
डॉक्टर्स की सफल मेहनत का परिणाम यह रहा की बच्चे को ऑपरेशन के 7 वें दिन दुध पिला दिया गया और 8वें दिन अच्छी हालत में चिकित्सालय से डिस्चार्ज कर दिया गया।
एसएसपी डॉक्टर्स टीम की इस उपलब्धि पर प्राचार्य एवं नियंत्रक सरदार पटेल मेडिकल कॉलेज डॉ. गुंजन सोनी ने बधाई दी ओर कहा कि हमारी टीम में मरीजों को कुशल चिकित्सा व्यवस्थ मुहैया करवाने हेतु सदैव तत्पर है।

Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Recently, the team of doctors of Pedia Surgery Department of Super Specialty Block affiliated to Sardar Patel Medical College has successfully removed a lump weighing 1.4 kg from the stomach of a one month old child and given him life through a successful operation. This was done completely free of cost under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana. Under the guidance of Dr. Girish Prabhar, Head of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, Assistant Professor Dr. M.L. Kajla performed this major operation. The anesthesia team had special support from Dr. Sonali Dhawan, Dr. Garima Sharma and Dr. Shiva along with nursing staff, Rahul Sharma and other supporting staff etc.
Dr. Kajla told that the family of the one month old child came with the complaint of bloating in his stomach which was increasing very rapidly in the last 15 days. On examination of the child, a huge lump was found in the stomach which was spread from the upper part of the stomach to the middle part and in both the (right and left) parts of the stomach.
After necessary tests and abdominal sonography, it was decided to operate the child. On opening the abdomen for operation, a very large lump (chylous cyst) was found which was attached to the blood vessels supplying the small intestine.
Along with the lump, part of the small intestine to which it was attached was also removed. And both the parts of the intestine were surgically joined together. The lump weighed 1.4 kg, which was more than one-third of the child’s total weight.
The result of the successful efforts of the doctors was that the child was fed milk on the 7th day of the operation and was discharged from the hospital in good condition on the 8th day.
Principal and Controller Sardar Patel Medical College Dr. Gunjan Soni congratulated the SSP doctors team on this achievement and said that our team is always ready to provide efficient medical care to the patients.
