केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय ई-रिर्सोज का महत्वपूर्ण केन्द्र: आचार्य दीक्षित

बीकानेर, @marusangramnews। महाराजा गंगा सिंह विश्वविद्यालय, बीकानेर में आज दिनांक 31 अक्टूबर, 2023 को ‘‘ई-रिर्सोज का बेहतर उपयोग’’ विषय पर कार्यशाला आयोजित हुई। कार्यशाला के उद्घाटन सत्र की अध्यक्षता करते हुए विश्वविद्यालय कुलपति आचार्य मनोज दीक्षित ने विद्यार्थियों से आग्रह किया कि विश्वविद्यालय के केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय में उपलब्ध ई-रिर्सोज का अधिक से अधिक उपयोग करें ताकि वे उनका अनुसरण करते हुए अपने जीवन में अध्ययन की महत्वत्ता को समझ सके।

आज हमारे केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय की पहचान राजस्थान में ई-रिर्सोज के हब के रूप में हो रही है जो बहुत सराहनीय है। हमारा प्रयास रहेगा कि इन रिर्सोज को विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थियों तक सीमित नहीं रखते हुए इस आम विद्यार्थियों के ओपन किया जाए।

इस अवसर पर कुलपति दीक्षित ने सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल एवं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री श्रीमती इन्दिरा गांधी को भी याद किया तथा उनके द्वारा राष्ट्रहित में किये गए कार्यो से विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरणा लेने की बात कही।

कुलपति दीक्षित ने कहा कि किसी भी विश्वविद्यालय की पहचान उसके पुस्तकालय से होती है। कोरोना काल के पश्चात् डिजिटलीकरण ने पूरी तरह से नई क्रान्ति ला दी है। पुस्तकालयों में बढ़ते ई-रिर्सोज ने संसाधन साझाकरण की अवधारणा को आगे बढ़ाने में महती भूमिका निभाई है।

विश्वविद्यालय मीडिया प्रभारी डाॅ. मेघना शर्मा ने बताया कि कार्यशाला में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में पधारे महर्षि दयानन्द विश्वविद्यालय, रोहतक के पुस्तकालय विषय के आचार्य प्रो. निर्मल कुमार सेन ने कहा कि सूचना एवं प्रौद्योगिकी के इस युग में पुस्तकालय के स्वरूप में आधारभूत परिवर्तन आए है। उन्होंने ई संसाधनों की उपयोगिता पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि संसाधनों का निर्धारण एवं उपयोग छात्रों एवं संस्थानों दोनो के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। कार्यशाला के प्रारम्भ में पुस्तकालयाध्यक्ष एवं कार्यक्रम प्रभारी उमेश शर्मा ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए केन्द्रीय पुस्तकालय में उपलब्ध ई-रिर्सोज की जानकारी प्रदान की। कार्यशाला का संचालन डाॅ. संतोष कंवर शेखावत द्वारा किया गया।

उद्घाटन सत्र में प्रो. अनिल कुमार छंगाणी, प्रो. राजाराम चोयल, संकायाध्यक्ष शिक्षा प्रो. सतपाल स्वामी, कुलसचिव अरूण प्रकाश शर्मा एवं अतिरिक्त कुलसचिव डाॅ. बिट्ठल बिस्सा सहित समस्त शिक्षक एवं अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यशाला के द्वितीय सत्र में राष्ट्रीय एवं अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के प्रकाशकों ने ई-रिर्सोज की उपयोगिता पर प्रस्तुति दी।

Central Library is an important center of e-resources: Acharya Dixit

A workshop on “Better Use of E-Resources” was organized at Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner today on October 31, 2023. Presiding over the inaugural session of the workshop, University Vice-Chancellor Acharya Manoj Dixit urged the students to make maximum use of the e-resources available in the Central Library of the University so that they can follow them and understand the importance of studies in their lives.

Today our Central Library is being recognized as the hub of e-resources in Rajasthan, which is highly commendable. It will be our endeavor to open these resources to general students and not limit them to university students.

On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Dixit also remembered Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and former Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi and asked the students to take inspiration from the work done by them in the national interest.

Vice Chancellor Dixit said that any university is identified by its library. After the Corona period, digitalization has brought a completely new revolution. The increasing use of e-resources in libraries has played an important role in furthering the concept of resource sharing.

University media in-charge Dr. Meghna Sharma told that Professor of Library subject of Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, who came as the main speaker in the workshop, was Prof. Nirmal Kumar Sen said that in this age of information and technology, there have been fundamental changes in the form of library. Highlighting the utility of e-resources, he said that determination and utilization of resources is important for both students and institutions.

At the beginning of the workshop, librarian and program in-charge Umesh Sharma welcomed all the guests and provided information about the e-resources available in the Central Library. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Done by Santosh Kanwar Shekhawat.

In the inaugural session Prof. Anil Kumar Chhangani, Prof. Rajaram Choyal, Dean of Education, Prof. Satpal Swami, Registrar Arun Prakash Sharma and Additional Registrar Dr. All teachers and officers including Bitthal Bissa were present. In the second session of the workshop, national and international level publishers gave presentations on the utility of e-resources.
