कुष्ठ के प्रति भ्रांतियों को दूर करेंगी आशा सहयोगिनियां….
शहरी आशाओं को दिया कुष्ठ रोग संबंधी गहन प्रशिक्षण
बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। कुष्ठ रोग या हैनसेन रोग कोई शाप नहीं एक सामान्य जीवाणु (माइकोबैक्टीरियम लेप्रे) जनित बीमारी है जिसका आसान सा इलाज होता है। सभी रोगी सामने आजाएं तो बहुत जल्दी इस रोग का हमेशा के लिए उन्मूलन संभव है। इसी विचार को केंद्र में रखते हुए शुक्रवार को स्वास्थ्य भवन सभागार में सभी शहरी आशा बहनों को गहन प्रशिक्षण दिया गया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्य चिकित्सा एवं स्वास्थ्य अधिकारी डॉ. मोहम्मद अबरार पंवार ने आशा सहयोगिनियों को घर-घर भ्रमण के दौरान कुष्ठ जैसे लक्षण वाले व्यक्तियों के बारे में पड़ताल करने और चिन्हित होने पर संपूर्ण इलाज करवाने के निर्देश दिए।
उन्होंने बताया कि बहु औषधीय उपचार-एमडीटी (कुष्ठ निवारक औषधी) कुष्ठ की शार्तिया दवा है, जो सभी सरकारी अस्पतालों एवं स्वास्थ्य केन्द्रों पर मुफ्त में उपलब्ध है। आशा सहयोगिनियों को प्रत्येक कुष्ठ रोगी के उपचार हेतु इंसेंटिव भी देने का प्रावधान है।
सुंन्न दाग, बदरंग निशान, कुष्ठ रोग की है पहचान
राष्ट्रीय कुष्ठ रोग उन्मूलन कार्यक्रम के जिला नोडल अधिकारी व डिप्टी सीएमएचओ डॉ. लोकेश गुप्ता ने जानकारी दी कि चमड़ी पर चमड़ी के रंग से फीका, एक या एक से अधिक दाग या धब्बे जिसमें सुन्नपन, सूखापन, पसीना न आता हो, खुजली या जलन, चुभन न होती हो तो कुष्ठ रोग हो सकता है।
शरीर पर, चेहरे पर भौंहो के उपर कानों के उपर सूजन-गठान, दाने या तेलीय चमक दिखाई पड़े, तो कुष्ठ रोग हो सकता है। जीवाणु संक्रमण से नसों, श्वसन मार्ग, त्वचा और आंखों को नुकसान हो सकता है।
इस तंत्रिका क्षति के परिणामस्वरूप दर्द महसूस करने की क्षमता की कमी हो सकती है, जिससे बार-बार चोट लगने या अनजाने घावों के माध्यम से संक्रमण से व्यक्ति के हाथ पैरों के कुछ हिस्सों को नुकसान हो सकता है।
नर्सिंग अधिकारी हीरा भाटी ने जानकारी दी कि कुष्ठ रोग के लक्षण एक वर्ष के भीतर शुरू हो सकते हैं, लेकिन, कुछ लोगों के लिए लक्षण प्रकट होने में 20 वर्ष या उससे अधिक समय लग सकता है। हाथ पैर में सुन्नता, सूखापन एवं कमजोरी होने पर भी कुष्ठ की जाँच करवानी चाहिए।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान आरसीएचओ डॉ. राजेश कुमार गुप्ता व डॉ रमेश गुप्ता द्वारा पुकार एप में एचबीपीएनसी गतिविधियों का रियल टाइम लोकेशन से इंद्राज करने संबंधी प्रशिक्षण भी दिया गया।
इस अवसर पर डीपीसी रेनू बिस्सा, मालकोश आचार्य सहित सभी शहरी आशाएं मौजूद रही।

Intensive training related to leprosy given to urban ASHAs
Bikaner, @MaruSangram. Leprosy or Hansen’s disease is not a curse, it is a common disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium leprae) which has an easy treatment. If all the patients come forward, it is possible to eradicate this disease forever very soon. Keeping this idea in mind, intensive training was given to all the urban Asha sisters in the Swasthya Bhavan auditorium on Friday.
During the program, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mohammad Abrar Panwar instructed the Asha associates to investigate the people with leprosy-like symptoms during door-to-door visits and to get complete treatment if identified.
He told that Multi Drug Treatment-MDT (Leprosy Preventive Medicine) is a short medicine for leprosy, which is available free of cost at all government hospitals and health centers. There is also a provision to give incentive to ASHA associates for the treatment of every leprosy patient.
Numb spots and discolored marks are signs of leprosy.
Dr. Lokesh Gupta, District Nodal Officer and Deputy CMHO of the National Leprosy Eradication Program, informed that there is discolouration of the skin, one or more spots or spots on the skin which include numbness, dryness, no sweating, itching or burning, If there is no prick, it can lead to leprosy.
If swelling, lumps, rashes or oily sheen are seen on the body, face, above the eyebrows or ears, then leprosy may be the case. Bacterial infections can cause damage to the nerves, respiratory tract, skin, and eyes.
This nerve damage can result in a loss of the ability to feel pain, which can lead to damage to parts of a person’s limbs from repeated injuries or infections through unintended wounds.
Nursing officer Hira Bhati informed that the symptoms of leprosy can start within a year, but, for some people, it may take 20 years or more for the symptoms to appear. Even if there is numbness, dryness and weakness in hands and legs, one should get tested for leprosy.
During the program, training was also given by RCHO Dr. Rajesh Kumar Gupta and Dr. Ramesh Gupta regarding recording of HBPNC activities from real time location in Pukar App.
On this occasion, all the urban ASHAs including DPC Renu Bissa, Malkosh Acharya were present.
