पटियाला, @MaruSangram। पंजाब के पटियाला क्षेत्र के पातड़ां के गांव कांगथला में एक नशेड़ी युवक की ओर से अपने दो साथियों के साथ मिलकर अपनी मां व सौतेले भाई पर लोहे के सबल के साथ वार करके निर्ममता से कत्ल करने का मामला सामने आया है।

वारदात के बाद गुनाह छिपाने के लिए आरोपी ने मां की लाश के टुकड़े-टुकड़े करके तेल डालकर इसे घर में ही जला दिया, जबकि भाई की लाश को पास पड़ती कैथल-खन्नौरी ड्रेन में फेंक दिया।

थाना शुतराणा पुलिस ने तीनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज कर लिया है, लेकिन फिलहाल किसी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं हो सकी है। मृतकों की पहचान परमजीत कौर (50) व जसविंदर सिंह (20) के तौर पर हुई है। आरोपियों में परमजीत कौर का बड़ा बेटा गुरविंदर सिंह उर्फ गिंदा (28) व उसके दो दोस्त रजिंदर सिंह उर्फ राजा व रणजीत सिंह उर्फ राणा शामिल हैं।

थाना शुतराणा इंचार्ज मनप्रीत सिंह ने बताया कि शनिवार रात करीब दो बजे गश्त के दौरान वह पुलिस पार्टी के साथ सागरा पुल पर मौजूद थे। इसी दौरान गांव कांगथला निवासी भगवान सिंह ने पुलिस टीम को जानकारी दी कि उसके ताया की बेटी परमजीत कौर गांव कांगथला में ही ब्याही हुई है।

परमजीत कौर के पड़ोसी प्रहलाद सिंह ने उसे फोन करके बताया है कि उसकी बहन के घर से धुआं उठ रहा है और कुछ जलाए जाने की भी बदबू आ रही है।

इस पर जब वह गांव के कुछ गणमान्य लोगों के साथ अपनी बहन के घर पहुंचा, तो वहां परमजीत कौर व उसका छोटा बेटा मौजूद नहीं थे।

उन्हें देखते ही घर से गुरविंदर सिंह अपने दोनों दोस्तों के साथ मौके से फरार हो गया। शक होने जब भगवान सिंह व अन्य लोगों ने आसपास देखा, तो घर में खून के धब्बे थे

Police Station Shutrana has registered a case against all the three accused, but at present no one has been arrested. The deceased have been identified as Paramjit Kaur (50) and Jaswinder Singh (20). The accused include Paramjit Kaur’s elder son Gurvinder Singh alias Ginda (28) and his two friends Rajinder Singh alias Raja and Ranjit Singh alias Rana.

Police Station Shutrana Incharge Manpreet Singh said that he was present at Sagara bridge with the police party during patrolling at around 2 pm on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Bhagwan Singh, a resident of village Kangthala informed the police team that his maternal uncle’s daughter Paramjeet Kaur got married in village Kangthala itself.

Prahlad Singh, a neighbor of Paramjit Kaur, has called her and told that smoke is rising from his sister’s house and there is also a smell of burning something.

On this, when he reached his sister’s house with some dignitaries of the village, Paramjeet Kaur and her younger son were not present there.

On seeing them, Gurvinder Singh fled away from the house along with his two friends. Being suspicious, when Bhagwan Singh and others looked around, there were blood stains in the house.
