नौतपा गुरुवार से शुरू हुआ, लेकिन लगातार दूसरे दिन बारिश के कारण रात का पारा 10 डिग्री लुढक गया। गुरुवार को भी बारिश का दौर जारी रहा। शाम को लगभग 50 किमी की रफ्तार से आधे घंटे आंधी चली। बुधवार से गुरुवार तक 26.4 मिलीमीटर बारिश दर्ज की गई। बीती रात साढ़े आठ बजे तक 21.3 मिलीमीटर बारिश हुई थी। शुक्रवार को बारिश के आसार नहीं है लेकिन शनिवार को वापस बादल गहराएंगे। 28 काे फिर बारिश के आसार बनेंगे। इस बीच गुरुवार काे अधिकतम तापमान 35.2 डिग्री दर्ज किया गया।
बच्चा हॉस्पिटल के आईसीयू की छत से टपका पानी:
पीबीएम के बच्चा हॉस्पिटल में करोड़ों रुपए की लागत से तैयार आईसीयू की छत बुधवार रात बारिश नहीं झेल पाई। बेड पर भर्ती बच्चों के ऊपर छत से पानी गिरने लगा। आनन-फानन में डॉक्टरों और नर्सिंग स्टाफ ने बीमार बच्चों को दूसरी जगह शिफ्ट करने का निर्णय लिया।
कुछ ही देर में बीमार बच्चों को परिजन और वेंटीलेटर को नर्सिंग स्टाफ लेकर हॉस्पिटल की निचली मंजिल पर पहुंचे। इससे पहले डॉक्टरों के भी हाथ-पांव फूल गए, उन्हें समझ नहीं आ रहा था कि अब क्या होगा। आईसीयू सेकंड फ्लोर पर है, जबकि बच्चों को फ़र्स्ट फ्लोर पर शिफ्ट किया गया। ऐसे में परिजन और मेडिकल स्टाफ रात तक परेशान हुए।

In the evening, there was a thunderstorm for half an hour at a speed of about 50 km. From Wednesday to Thursday, 26.4 mm of rain was recorded. There was 21.3 mm of rain till 8.30 pm last night. There is no chance of rain on Friday but clouds will return on Saturday. There will be chances of rain again on 28th. Meanwhile, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees on Thursday.
Water leaking from the roof of ICU of Bacha Hospital:
The roof of the ICU built at a cost of crores of rupees in PBM’s Bacha Hospital could not withstand the rain on Wednesday night. Water started falling from the roof over the children admitted on the beds. In a hurry, the doctors and nursing staff decided to shift the sick children to another place.
Within a short time, the family members of the sick children and the nursing staff along with the ventilator reached the lower floor of the hospital. Before this even the hands and feet of the doctors swelled, they could not understand what would happen now. The ICU is on the second floor, while the children were shifted to the first floor. In such a situation, the family and the medical staff were worried till night.
