अमृतसर, @MaruSangram। सेना में तैनात एक इंजीनियर ने बेटे की चाह में अपनी सात माह की बेटी को जहरीला पदार्थ दे दिया। गंभीर हालत में बच्ची को अस्पताल में दाखिल करवाया गया। बच्ची की मां जगरूप कौर की शिकायत पर रमदास पुलिस ने माकोवाल गांव निवासी बच्ची के पिता कुलदीप सिंह, दादी राजविंदर कौर, दादा बलविंदर सिंह और चाचा गुरदीप सिंह के खिलाफ हत्या के प्रयास का केस दर्ज किया है।
बताया कि शादी के बाद पति और उसके ससुराल वालों का उसके प्रति व्यवहार ठीक नहीं था। आरोपी अक्सर उससे बेटे की मांग करते थे।
करीब चार साल पहले उसने बेटी मनराज कौर को जन्म दिया। इसके बाद आरोपियों ने उसके साथ बुरा व्यवहार करना शुरू कर दिया। विवाहिता ने आरोप लगाया कि बेटा नहीं पैदा होने पर उसे ससुराल वाले बुरा-भला कहने लगे।
सात माह पहले उसने फिर एक बेटी सहजप्रीत कौर को जन्म दिया। इसके बाद तो आरोपियों ने उसे धमकाना शुरू कर दिया कि वह दोनों बेटियों समेत घर से बाहर निकाल देंगे। इस संबंध में उसके मायके वालों को पता चलने पर उन्होंने उसके पति और उसके पारिवारिक सदस्यों को समझाने का प्रयास किया।
मगर वे लोग अपनी आदतों से बाज नहीं आ सके। उसने आरोप लगाया कि शुक्रवार को आरोपियों ने मिलकर उसकी छोटी बेटी सहजप्रीत कौर को जहरीला पदार्थ दे दिया। बेटी की तबीयत बिगड़ने पर उसे अस्पताल में दाखिल करवाया। जहां डॉक्टरों ने बताया कि बच्ची को जहरीला पदार्थ दिया गया है।

Seven months ago, she again gave birth to a daughter, Sahajpreet Kaur. After this, the accused started threatening her that they would throw her out of the house along with both the daughters. When her parents came to know about this, they tried to convince her husband and his family members.
But those people could not desist from their habits. He alleged that on Friday the accused together gave poisonous substance to his younger daughter Sahajpreet Kaur. When the health of the daughter deteriorated, she was admitted to the hospital. Where the doctors told that the girl was given poisonous substance.
