सावधान: 30 जून तक लगवा लें हाई सिक्योरिटी नंबर प्लेट, वरना एक जुलाई से भरना होगा मोटा चालान….
पंजाब, @MaruSangram। पंजाब के लोगों को अब दो महीने में अपने वाहनों पर हाई सिक्योरिटी नंबर प्लेट लगवाना होगा। नहीं तो एक जुलाई से मोटा चालान कटवाना पड़ेगा।
पंजाब परिवहन विभाग और पुलिस ने इसकी तैयारी कर ली है।
लोगों को 30 जून तक नंबर प्लेट लगवाने की हिदायत दी गई है। इसके बाद मोटर वाहन एक्ट, 1988 की धारा 177 के तहत कार्रवाई होगी।
इसमें पहली बार पकड़े जाने पर दो हजार रुपये जुर्माना होगा जबकि इसके बाद पकड़े जाने पर तीन हजार रुपये के हिसाब से जुर्माना वसूला जाएगा।
वहीं, वाहनों को ब्लैक लिस्ट में डाल दिया जाएगा। विभाग ने लोगों को आखिरी चेतावनी दी है कि तय समय में अपने वाहनों पर हाई सिक्योरिटी नंबर प्लेट लगवा लें।
पंजाब में वाहनों पर हाई सिक्योरिटी नंबर प्लेट लगाने का काम कई साल से चल रहा है लेकिन इस बीच नंबर प्लेट के फीका पड़ने का मामला सामने आया था। साथ ही यह मामला हाईकोर्ट पहुंचा था लेकिन कुछ नियमों के साथ कंपनी को तय समय में काम पूरा करने की हिदायत दी गई थी।
हालांकि बीच में कोरोना महामारी ने दस्तक दे थी। ऐसे में यह काम अधर में रह गया था। कई बार विभाग हाई सिक्योरिटी नंबर प्लेट लगवाने की तिथि बढ़ा चुका है।
इसके बाद अब इस दिशा में कार्रवाई की गई है। विभाग ने इस संबंध में एक पत्र पुलिस को भेज दिया है। साथ ही सभी जिलों के आरटीओ को इस बार सख्त कार्रवाई करने की हिदायत दी है।

In Punjab, the work of installing high security number plates on vehicles has been going on for many years, but in the meantime, a case of discolored number plates had come to the fore. Also, the matter had reached the High Court, but with some rules, the company was instructed to complete the work within the stipulated time.
However, the Corona epidemic had knocked in the middle. In such a situation, this work was left in limbo. Many times the department has extended the date for installation of high security number plates.
After this, action has now been taken in this direction. The department has sent a letter in this regard to the police. Also, the RTOs of all the districts have been instructed to take strict action this time.
