अमृतसर/पंजाब, @MaruSangram। बीते कुछ दिनों से पंजाब में भगोड़े घोषित और पूरे देश में वॉन्टेड खालिस्तानी समर्थक अमृतपाल की पत्नी किरणदीप कौर को गुरुवार (20 अप्रैल) को लंदन जाते वक्त अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट पर पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया है।

सूत्रों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक किरणदीप कौर अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट से बर्मिंघम भागने की फिराक में थी, इसी सिलसिले में वह अमृतसर एयरपोर्ट पहुंची थी लेकिन गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर एयरपोर्ट पर पहले से ही मौजूद पुलिस ने उसे हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू कर दी।

गौरतलब है कि किरणदीप कौर पर खालिस्तानी समर्थकों को फंडिंग करने का आरोप है। इन आरोपों के मद्देनजर किरण दीप कौर को लेकर सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने लुक आउट सर्कुलर जारी किया है, जिसके मुताबिक किरण को पंजाब में ही रहना होगा. ‘पुलिस रडार में पहले से ही थी किरण दीप कौर’ आपको जानकर हैरानी होगी अमृतपाल सिंह की पत्नी किरणदीप कौर पंजाब पुलिस ही नहीं यूके पुलिस की रडार में भी थी।

दरअसल 28 साल की किरणदीप कौर यूके की नागरिक है और वह पहले से ही खालिस्तानी समर्थक है।

वह अमृतपाल से शादी करने से पहले ही अलगाववादी संगठन बब्बर खालसा के संपर्क में थी और अपने पति अमृतपाल सिंह की अध्यक्षता वाली डबल्यूपीडी के लिए धन का मैनेजमेंट करती थी। इसकी इन हरकतों की वजह से वह 2020 में यूके पुलिस के रडार में आ गई थी।

अमृतपाल से कब हुई शादी? किरण दीप कौर की अमृतपाल से फरवरी में अमृतसर के जल्‍लूपुर खेड़ा गांव में शादी की थी।

मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स की मानें तो शादी में तस्वीरें खींचने की मनाही थी। अगर कोई तस्वीर खींचना भी चाहता था तो वह उसकी पत्नी की तस्वीर पीछे से ले सकता था।

She was in touch with the separatist organization Babbar Khalsa even before marrying Amritpal and used to manage funds for the WPD headed by her husband Amritpal Singh. Because of these antics, she came under the radar of the UK police in 2020.

When did Amritpal get married? Kiran Deep Kaur was married to Amritpal in February at Jallupur Kheda village in Amritsar.
