मकान पर छापा पड़ा: IPL सट्टेबाजी रैकेट का भंडाफोड़, 10 गिरफ्तार, 60.39 लाख रुपये नगद जब्त….
हैदराबाद, @MaruSangram| साइबराबाद पुलिस ने ऑनलाइन आईपीएल क्रिकेट सट्टेबाजी रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ किया है और 10 सट्टेबाजों को गिरफ्तार किया है।
आरसीबी और लखनऊ सुपरजायंट्स के बीच आईपीएल मैच के दौरान सोमवार को बचुपाली में एक मकान पर छापे के दौरान ये गिरफ्तारी की गयी। साइबराबाद के पुलिस आयुक्त स्टीफन रवींद्र ने पत्रकारों को बताया कि एसओटी बालानगर जोन और साइबराबाद पुलिस की बचुपाली टीम क्रिकेट सट्टेबाजी रैकेट की अवैध गतिविधियों पर नजर रख रही थी। विश्वसनीय सूचना के आधार पर उन्होंने संयुक्त रूप से बचुपाली में साई अनुराग कॉलोनी में एक मकान पर छापा मारा।
उन्होंने कहा कि 10 सट्टेबाजों को गिरफ्तार किया गया और 60.39 लाख रुपये नगद जब्त किये गए। उन्होंने कहा कि गिरफ्तार लोगों के बैंक खातों की राशि, ऑनलाइन नगद की कीमत और जब्त सम्पदा को मिलाकर मामले की कुल कीमत एक करोड़ रुपये बैठती है। जब्त सम्पदा में तीन लाइन बोर्ड, आठ लैपटॉप, टी टीवी, आठ कीपैड फोन, दो सीपीयू कीबोर्ड, मॉनिटर सेट टॉप बॉक्स, हैडसैट, वाईफाई राउटर्स, प्रिंटर, माइक्रोफोन, 10 स्मार्ट फोन और तीन दो पहिया वाहन शामिल हैं।
सट्टेबाजों को टीएस गेमिंग एक्ट की धारा 3 और 4 के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया है। पांडु, जो विजयवाड़ा का निवासी है, फरार है। गिरफ्तार लोगों में से चार आंध्र प्रदेश से हैं जबकि शेष आंध्र प्रदेश के निवासी हैं। पुलिस ने कहा कि जल्द पैसा बनाने के चक्कर में कुछ लोग क्रिकेट सट्टेबाजी की तरफ रुख करते हैं और जल्द ही उन्हें इसकी आदत लग जाती है। सट्टेबाज इससे धन कमाते हैं जबकि पैसा लगाने वाले अपना पैसा गंवाते हैं।

Hyderabad, @MaruSangram| Cyberabad Police has busted the online IPL cricket betting racket and arrested 10 bookies.
The arrests were made during a raid on a house in Bachupali on Monday during the IPL match between RCB and Lucknow Supergiants. Cyberabad Police Commissioner Stephen Ravindra told reporters that SOT Balanagar zone and Bachupali team of Cyberabad police were keeping a tab on the illegal activities of the cricket betting racket. Based on reliable information, they jointly raided a house in Sai Anurag Colony, Bachupali.
He said that 10 bookies were arrested and Rs 60.39 lakh in cash was seized. He said that the total cost of the case, including the amount in the bank accounts of the arrested people, the value of online cash and the seized assets, comes to Rs one crore. The confiscated properties include three line boards, eight laptops, T TVs, eight keypad phones, two CPU keyboards, monitor set top boxes, headsets, WiFi routers, printers, microphones, 10 smart phones and three two wheelers.
The bookies have been arrested under sections 3 and 4 of the TS Gaming Act. Pandu, who is a resident of Vijayawada, is absconding. Four of the arrested are from Andhra Pradesh while the rest are residents of Andhra Pradesh. Police said that in order to make quick money, some people turn to cricket betting and soon they get used to it. The speculators make money from it while the investors lose their money.
