मानहानि केस में सजा के खिलाफ अपील करेंगे राहुल गांधी, आज पहुंचेंगे सूरत….

सूरत कोर्ट से मानहानि मामले में सजा मिलने के बाद राहुल गांधी की लोकसभा की सदस्यता रद्द कर दी गई है। इस मामले में मिली सजा के खिलाफ राहुल गांधी सोमवार को सूरत सेशंस कोर्ट में अपील करेंगे।

अहमदाबाद, @Marusangram। कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी मानहानि मामले में दो साल की सजा सुनाए जाने के बाद मजिस्ट्रेट के आदेश के खिलाफ सूरत की सेशंस कोर्ट में याचिका दायर करेंगे। राहुल अपने वकीलों के साथ सूरत की कोर्ट में कल यानी सोमवार को पहुंच सकते हैं। 

राहुल गांधी को सूरत के मुख्य न्यायिक मजिस्ट्रेट एचएच वर्मा ने ‘मोदी सरनेम’ के साथ चोरों के बारे में उनकी साल 2019 में की गई टिप्पणी पर मानहानि के मामले में दोषी ठहराया। अदालत ने कांग्रेस नेता को दो साल कैद की सजा सुनाई। उसके साथ ही अदालत ने 15 हजार रुपये के निजी मुचलके पर उनकी जमानत भी मंजूर कर ली थी और उन्हें अपील करने की अनुमति देने के लिए 30 दिनों के लिए सजा को निलंबित भी कर दिया था।

राहुल गांधी की लोकसभा सदस्यता हुई रद्द
बीजेपी विधायक पूर्णेश मोदी ने राहुल गांधी के खिलाफ मानहानि का केस कर दिया था। राहुल गांधी ने साल 2019 में लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान कर्नाटक के कोलार में एक रैली के दौरान कहा था- “कैसे सभी चोरों का उपनाम मोदी है?”  कोर्ट द्वारा सजा सुनाए जाने के बाद राहुल गांधी को लोकसभा से अयोग्य घोषित कर दिया गया था।

पटना की अदालत ने भी राहुल गांधी को भेजा नोटिस
राहुल गांधी को सुशील कुमार मोदी द्वारा उनकी 2019 की टिप्पणी के लिए दायर एक अन्य मानहानि मामले का भी सामना करना पड़ रहा है। पटना की एक अदालत ने कथित तौर पर मामले के सिलसिले में कांग्रेस नेता को 12 अप्रैल को पेश होने का आदेश दिया है।

Rahul Gandhi’s membership of the Lok Sabha has been canceled after being convicted in a defamation case by the Surat court. Rahul Gandhi will appeal against the sentence in this case in the Surat Sessions Court on Monday.

Ahmedabad, @Marusangram. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will file a petition in Surat’s sessions court against the magistrate’s order after he was sentenced to two years in a defamation case. Rahul can reach Surat court tomorrow i.e. on Monday with his lawyers.

Rahul Gandhi was convicted by Surat Chief Judicial Magistrate HH Verma in a defamation case over his 2019 remarks about thieves with ‘Modi surname’. The court sentenced the Congress leader to two years imprisonment. Simultaneously, the court had also granted him bail on a personal bond of Rs 15,000 and suspended the sentence for 30 days to allow him to file an appeal.

Lok Sabha membership of Rahul Gandhi canceled
BJP MLA Purnesh Modi had filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had said during a rally in Kolar, Karnataka during the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019 – “How come all thieves have Modi as their surname?” Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the Lok Sabha after the court sentenced him.

Patna court also sent notice to Rahul Gandhi
Rahul Gandhi is also facing another defamation case filed by Sushil Kumar Modi for his 2019 remarks. A Patna court has reportedly ordered the Congress leader to appear before it on April 12 in connection with the case.
