बीकानेर, @MaruSangram। शहर के नयाशहर थाना इलाके में एक विडियो गेम सेन्टर की आड़ में चल रहे गैर कानूनी कामों पर आज पुलिस ने रेड मारी।

आईजी ओमप्रकाश के निर्देशन में आईजी कार्यालय के अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक दीपक शर्मा के सुपरविजन में आई मनोज शर्मा ने छापामारी की।

इस दौरान विडियो सेन्टर से करीब 11 विडियो गेम की मशीनें व अन्य उपकरण बरामद किये है। बताया जा रहा है कि सर्वोदय बस्ती रोड स्थित एक विडियो सेन्टर पर विडियो गेम खिलाने की आड़ में जुए सट्टे व अन्य अनैतिक गतिविधियां चल रही थी। जिसकी शिकायत पर हरकत आई ओमप्रकाश ने अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक दीपक शर्मा की अगुवाई में भारी पुलिस जाब्ते के साथ विडियो सेन्टर पर छापेमारी की कार्यवाही करवाई।

इस विडियो सेन्टर पर छापेमारी की कार्यवाही करवाई। इस दौरान सेन्टर पर जुआ सट्टा व अन्य अनैतिक गतिविधि चल रही थी। पुलिस की इस रेड में टीम ने 11 केसिनो मशीनें व अन्य सामान भी जब्त किया। जानकारी मिली है कि आईजी इसको लेकर खासे सख्त नजर आएं और उन्होंने तुरंत बीट कास्टेबल बद्री मीना को जागरुक नहीं रहने पर निलंबित करते हुए नयाशहर थानाधिकारी को भी लताड़ पिलाई। पुलिस की अचानक हुई कार्रवाई के चलते क्षेत्र में अफरा तफरी मच गई। कार्रवाई को देखने के लिये सड़क पर तमाशबिनों की भीड़ जुट गई।

यहीं नहीं पुलिस ने विडियो सेन्टर की चौतरफा किले बंदी भी कर ली। इस कार्रवाई में सीआई मनोज शर्मा, प्रशिक्षु थानेदार, एएसआई व पचास के करीब जवान भी मौजूद रहे।
