लावणी लोक नृत्य की मची धूम

जयपुर, @Marusangram। जब कोई डांस हो रहा हो, और पैर लय में स्वतः थिरकने लगे, तो समझिए वह डांस लावणी है। और तो और, इसके लिए यह भी जरूरी नहीं कि आप नृत्य कला के जानकार हों। यही जादू है लावणी नृत्य के गीत, संगीत और प्रदर्शन का। दरअसल, लावणी नृत्य महाराष्ट्र की लोक नाट्य-शैली तमाशा का एक अभिन्न अंग है। इसे महाराष्ट्र ही नहीं समूचे भारत के सबसे लोकप्रिय डांस में शुमार किया जाता है।
वजह वही, चाहे केरल का व्यक्ति हो या पंजाब का, चाहे लखनऊ का हो या कश्मीर का यानी देश के किसी कोने का, जिसे न लावणी का नाम मालूम हो और न मराठी आती हो, फिर भी वह डांसर्स की ऊर्जा देख जोश में भर जाता है, , इसके खास संगीत के साथ थिरकने लगता है। बता दें कि ’लावणी’ शब्द ’लावण्यता’ यानी खूबसूरती या सुंदरता से बना है। कहते हैं, मराठी में ’लवण’ यानी नमक से लिया गया है। माना जाता है कि यदि लोक कला में लावणी न हो तो वह फीकी है, जैसे बिना नमक का खाना।
हालांकि लावणी नृत्य की विषय-वस्तु यानी थीम कहीं से भी ली जा सकती है, लेकिन वीरता, प्रेम और भक्ति जैसी भावनाओं को प्रदर्शित करने के लिए यह शैली बहुत माकूल मानी जाती है। वास्तव में इसका खास संगीत, कविता, नृत्य और नाट्य सभी का पूरे कौशल से प्रदर्शन ही लावणी लोक नृत्य है। इस डांस में इन सबका सम्मिश्रण इतना बारीक होता है कि इनकी अलग से कल्पना तक नहीं की जा सकती। यूं तो, महाराष्ट्र में कई तरह के लोक नृत्य हैं, लेकिन इन नृत्यों में लावणी नृत्य सबसे ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध लोक नृत्य है। लावणी नृत्य इतना लोकप्रिय है कि हिन्दी फ़िल्मों में कई गाने इस पर फ़िल्माए गए हैं।
सम्मोहित कर देता है यह डांस-
रंग-बिरंगी भड़कीली साड़ियों और सोने के गहनों से सजी, ढोलक की थापों पर थिरकती लावणी नृत्यांगनाएं इस नृत्य कला के नाम को सार्थक करती हुए दशर्कों को अपने सम्मोहन में बांध लेती हैं। नौ मीटर लम्बी पारम्परिक साड़ी पहन पैरों में घूंघरू बांध कर सोलह श्रृंगार करके जब ये नर्तकियां संगीत की लय के साथ ख़ूबसूरती से अपनी देह को लहराती हैं और दर्शकों को निमंत्रित करते भावों से उकसाती हैं तो दर्शक मदहोश हुए बिना नहीं रह पाते। इसीलिए इसे ज्यादातर श्रृंगार रस यानी प्रेम रस का नृत्य माना जाता है। इसकी सबसे बड़ी खूूबी यही है कि नर्तकियां भाव-भंगिमाओं से दर्शकों से सीधी जुड जाती हैं। ऐसे में दर्शकों का मंत्रमुग्ध होना लाज़िमी है।
दो तरह का है लावणी-
ज्यादातर लोग सोचते हैं कि लावणी, बस एक लोक नृत्य है। हकीकत में ऐसा नहीं है, लावणी नृत्य ’निर्गुणी लावणी’ और ’श्रृंगारी लावणी’, दो प्रकार का होता है। निर्गुणी लावणी में जहां भक्ति यानी अध्यात्म का प्रदर्शन होता है, यह शैली मालवा में ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध है, तों शृंगारी लावणी शृंगार रस यानी सौंदर्य और प्रेम में सराबोर होता है, जिसे समूचे देश में खूब पसंद किया जा रहा है।
प्रेम रस से भरे गीत और भाव-
लावणी में गीत के भावों में जहां ज्यादातर प्रेम रस वाले होते हैं, वहीं संवादों के सामाजिक-राजनीतिक व्यंग्य के साथ तीखे हो जाते हैं। पूर्व में थके सैनिकों के लिए मनोरंजन और मनोबल बढ़ाने के लिए भी इस नृत्य का इस्तेमाल किया जा चुका है।
9 मीटर की साड़ी है खास-
महिलाओं कि लावणी प्रदर्शन 9 मीटर की सुंदर चम-चम करती साड़ी पहनती हैं। वे अपने बालों को खास प्रकार से जूड़े के रूम में बांध उस पर गजरा लगाती हैं। हाथों में कंगन और चूड़ियों को सलीके से धारण करती हैं। साथ ही कई गहने जैसे हार, झुमके, पायल, कमरपट्टा (मारवाड़ी में कंदौरा), अंगूठियां इत्यादि पहनती हैं। साथ ही, माथे पर गहरे लाल रंग की एक बड़ी बिंदी और हाथ-पैरों में मेहंदी नर्तकी की सुंदरता में चार चांद लगा देती है। साड़ी पहनने वे ’नौवार’ कहा जाता है।

This dance mesmerizes
Adorned in colorful gaudy sarees and gold ornaments, Lavani dancers dance to the beats of Dholak and enthrall the spectators, justifying the name of this dance art. Dressed in a nine meter long traditional saree with anklets on their feet and wearing sixteen adornments, when these dancers gracefully wave their bodies to the rhythm of the music and provoke the audience with inviting expressions, the audience cannot help but be intoxicated. That is why it is mostly considered to be the dance of Shringar Rasa i.e. Prem Rasa. Its biggest feature is that the dancers directly connect with the audience through expressions. In such a situation, it is necessary for the audience to be mesmerized.
There are two types of lavani-
Most people think that Lavani is just a folk dance. In reality it is not so, Lavani dance is of two types ‘Nirguni Lavani’ and ‘Shringari Lavani’. In Nirguni Lavani, where Bhakti i.e. spirituality is performed, this style is more famous in Malwa, while Shringari Lavani Shringar Rasa i.e. drenched in beauty and love, is being liked all over the country.
Songs and expressions full of love juice-
In Lavani, where most of the expressions of the songs are of love, the dialogues become sharp with socio-political satire. This dance has also been used in the past for entertainment and morale boosting for tired soldiers.
9 meter saree is special-
Lavani performance of women wears beautiful cham-cham saree of 9 meters. They tie their hair in a bun in a special way and apply gajra on it. Wears bracelets and bangles in hands properly. Also wears many ornaments like necklace, earrings, anklets, waistband (Kandaura in Marwari), rings etc. Also, a big deep red bindi on the forehead and henna on the hands and feet add to the beauty of the dancer. Those who wear saree are called ‘Nauvar’.
